After a very busy period here at Third Man headquarters, we are finally done shipping all the Lazaretto Vault packages. If you still have not received a tracking number for your package #20 (and signed up as a Platinum member before April 30), please let us know right away at vault@thirdmanrecords.com. Also, to reiterate from the last posting, we now will begin processing exchange and replacement requests that have been sent over the past few weeks. Although we usually accept exchange and replacement requests only up to 14 days after packages are received, we will allow for a longer grace period this quarter, lasting up through today for domestic members. We appreciate your patience very much and remind you to keep your eyes peeled for the next Vault package announcement shortly!

I received a letter today from Parcelforce worldwide telling me to pay £18.57 clearance fee and import VAT. This is my 6th vault package and the first time i have been charged this
@ Don Robertson – I have received the same email, and i feel the same way. Nice to get a discount and acknowledgement of their mistake but we aren’t actually gaining very much as we still have to pay postage and possibly custom charges on anything we buy from the store. A partial refund would’ve at least helped to actually getting this vault package delivered.
Apparently there was a fault in the shipping software that resulted in the packages being labelled with a much higher value, and which has been rectified for #21. By way of amends they have provided a 35% discount code (exclusive of Vault subscriptions and what I assume is the Paramount record package). While I do appreciate gesture, and hopefully without sound too ungrateful, part of me does feel let down by the fact this means I have to spend more money to recover what I’ve spent in customs charges. :/

Same problem here in the UK, £18.39. Wouldn’t be quite so annoyed if a) It was applied to the $60 value (or, better, the value of the package, not the subscription) and b) there was no £8 charge. Does anyone have any idea if there is a way to avoid the £8 charge in future?
i got my package this week, and it’s really cool! The hologram is neat, the packaging was great, The book was very well made and interesting.
Hello Justin and Joel from France. I had an answer from Cam at Third Man. He sent me a USPS tracking number by mail! I hope we’ll not be hit by customs charge like in UK or Germany! Hi, I live in France and me too, no shipping information and no answer from TMR to my email…
I’ve also been hit with Import VAT and clearance fees of £18.39. Something on the postage label has changed since Vault 19 and has triggered a VAT charge. Just need to find out what and inform Third Man Records to correct the label for Vault 21. A word of advise when you pay the charge they will then post the package to you; don’t waste your money and time collecting the parcel and increasing the loss.
Like some of the other comments here…no shipping confirmation and no receipt of my Vault package #20. Also no answer to my e-mails. What gives?
