You know, this song originally wasn’t going to be on the album. But Swank and I had to explain to the band how DAMN GOOD it was. It makes multiple statements that need to be made. The performance is tight…who even knew Brendan could DO that?

I wasn’t there but I realy loved how Jack White gave a surprise concert in support of Lazaretto in a medical research centre faking the outbreak of a contagious disease.Very cool & creative idea!

my favorite TM moment involving myself, is winning a White Stripes -sup pop singles club-single trouhg this same vault-message board…and kind of having a feeling up front I was gonna win it! I’m not so sure about winning this one though

Yesterday. What a great day and here’s why: amazing music, the friendly staff (how are they all that nice?), Mama Gillis (she’s my favorite Gillis, don’t tell Jack), the Bens partnership, meeting awesome people, stellar djing (Carla and Alison brought it), the intricate design elements found everywhere at TMR, and the Racs weren’t bad at all ??⚡️
My favorite third man moment has literally been the back the recent Raconteurs Vault releases, including the forthcoming album, which I’m dying to hear. I wish this single your giving away wasn’t so exclusive because i don’t win anything and the Raconteurs are my favorite Jack White band, and Jack White is my favorite modern artist. Looking forward to the new tunes and the tour, if he comes to my area.
Morrison, CO, Redrocks August, 2014, stayed an extra 5 days after hearing Jack would be at Redrocks shortly after our already scheduled BECK show. We took our 3 year old daughter, Paige to both shows! During Jack’s lightening, rain and double rainbow performance he says on stage “If I were Three, I’d remember this show forever!!!”. And she does!
This falls outside of the 10 year limit, but my favorite moment has to be seeing Brendan playing at the Troubadour in Los Angeles in 2005, and Jack joined him on stage to sing “Good to Me”. It was one of those true ‘Holy crap, that is awesome’ moments.
seeing Jack in the blue room. nothing cooler than that except maybe Monday when I see the Raconteurs!! also getting the vault packages are an exciting time in the house! opening up the white box and seeing what’s inside.
My first trip to TMR Nashville is coming in July, but I’ve had a long-standing relationship with TMR via digital outlets and through trusty old snail mail. My favorite memory to date was receiving my very first Vault package (#36). I wasn’t sure what to expect – I’d never heard Trout Mask Replica and I had heard it was simultaneously one of the most influential albums of all-time and one the worst sounding albums of all-time. Receiving it was a revelation in how fun one can have in making, owning, and playing vinyl. I had wavered on joining the Vault for awhile because I wasn’t sure what to expect. Safe to say, Trout Mask Replica will be the weirdest fucking thing I ever own. But I can’t imagine life without it in my collection, so thank you to TMR, Jack and the gang, and I can’t wait to see TMR Nashville in person!
Took the family there two years ago. we made a record of the song we sing before bedtime. We are going to keep doing it every few years!!!
