My favorite moment was the opening of the Detroit store, it made the circle complete. Being a Detroit native, it was a HUGE deal. This is where it all started, so much history. Then the fact Third Man started manufacturing records here blew everyone away! The best things are made in Detroit! Not trying to take anything away from the Nashville store, it obviously rocks too.
All about the World’s Fastest Record, me. Being four feet away from the front of the stage, having my ears seared by JW’s triple tube amps …yo, that was awesome. But the moment during Hello operator when the crowd out-shouted the lyrics as one – priceless!
