After a very busy period here at Third Man headquarters, we are finally done shipping all the Lazaretto Vault packages. If you still have not received a tracking number for your package #20 (and signed up as a Platinum member before April 30), please let us know right away at vault@thirdmanrecords.com. Also, to reiterate from the last posting, we now will begin processing exchange and replacement requests that have been sent over the past few weeks. Although we usually accept exchange and replacement requests only up to 14 days after packages are received, we will allow for a longer grace period this quarter, lasting up through today for domestic members. We appreciate your patience very much and remind you to keep your eyes peeled for the next Vault package announcement shortly!

Yes just checked my tracking number and the package is being held by the post office while they try and contact me. I have also not received any card yet and i have never had a problem with the previous 19 vault packages.
I have just seen the next vault package announced, will the same thing happen with this i wonder.
Worth saying, I’m not blaming Third Man Records at all. Stupid UK Customs and handling fees, which means just paying more to go pick it up yourself and have it delayed!
@ StanleyP & Kelly Clapton – the amount payable is probably so large because a ‘handling’ fee gets added onto the import fee, this can be larger than the actual import fee itself. I assume that the ‘handling’ fee is for filling out a card & posting it & hanging onto our packages until we can manage/afford to collect them! However, to be fair to Third Man Records, I’ve received 19 Vault packages and not paid any duty on any of them. My package (according to tracking) is at the Post Office, I’ve not received any card yet with payment details, so can’t collect it yet.
@Kelly Clapton, that seems like a lot of money. http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/customs/post/buying.htm says “Customs Duty on goods with a value that exceeds £135” and “import VAT on goods with a value that exceeds £15”, we shouldn’t have to be paying Customs Duty. VAT should only be about £7.
Also from the UK here, just found about extra charges but haven’t actually received anything about the charges or how to pay! Nuts. Unfortunately I will also have to stop with the vault packages, shame :(
I’m from the UK and received a letter from Parcel Force today saying I have to pay custom charges totaling £18.39.
Dont suppose anyone at Third Man can explain why this has happened on this Vault package and not the others?
They have changed the declared value on the package. Looks like we’ll need to pay HMRC as well as TMR for this one. If its the same for #21 that’ll need to be my last vault :(
Anybody else in the UK? Just re-tracked my package this morning and says it is being held at the Post Office and am awaiting contact on postal charges! I’ve already paid Third Man for the service. Help please it’s cost me enough already.

@giulia basile contact TMR they will sort it. I’ve never been hit with a customs charge either so let’s hope we don’t this time! If anyone in the UK has had to please post it here.
