After a very busy period here at Third Man headquarters, we are finally done shipping all the Lazaretto Vault packages. If you still have not received a tracking number for your package #20 (and signed up as a Platinum member before April 30), please let us know right away at vault@thirdmanrecords.com. Also, to reiterate from the last posting, we now will begin processing exchange and replacement requests that have been sent over the past few weeks. Although we usually accept exchange and replacement requests only up to 14 days after packages are received, we will allow for a longer grace period this quarter, lasting up through today for domestic members. We appreciate your patience very much and remind you to keep your eyes peeled for the next Vault package announcement shortly!
A from Mexico, received my vaullt last week just missing the download code, but Cam helped me with that. Beautiful package, the 7" recorded in Mexico, the color vinyls(matte and glossy) and the book, love the pictures, the material, the back picture from the lp, and the poscard is as beautiful as the ones I keep from my grannie. It made me very happy, tons of memories…Thank you TMR & Jack

Has anyone had a response from TMR about a possible refund? No way I am using a coupon when the postage fees (albeit not TMR’s fault) are so high..
@Karl Josef Esser – they’re not a big company so give the good folk at TMR a chance to respond rather than cancelling your subscription. If you don’t hear in a few days then send them an email again. I haven’t had call to email them often but they’ve always replied, sometimes very quickly and sometimes, during really busy periods, a few days later.
Just my advice though.
No shipping confirmation and no receipt of my Vault package #20. Also no answer to my e-mails. What should I do, cancel my subscription ?
13 days in and my pack has gone from Nashville to Miami. Not exactly breaking world speed records in it’s way to me in Australia. Is USPS really that bad? Maybe they have accidentally given it to a bicycle courier.
@Paul Bryan I went through the pain of seeking out a new turntable about 2 years ago when I hitched my cart to the vinyl bandwagon again. The only advice I would give is to not buy vintage unless you know what you are doing and if you are going to buy a turntable that you don’t want to replace a year or two later don’t go in really cheap because (as I found out) there is a world of difference between a cheaper Denon (such as a DP300F) or Audio Technica compared to (even an entry level) Pro-ject. Which leads me to my recommendation… you can’t go wrong with a Pro-ject Debut Carbon. It will open up the sound and bring life to your music. And BTW no, I don’t work for them lol.
@Daniel Ramsey, Shit does happen and it happened to be delivered in a pretty little package to us! So what does everyone think about the #20 vault package? I’m not sure if i should play this uncompressed masterpiece or just hide it away with all of my other TMR vinyl. Oh my god looking for a record player is the hardest decision i’ve ever made, anyone got any advice?
Haven’t had my letter yet, but can’t wait to get it. I too was a little pissed about the whole customs thing but hey human error :)
