During a quick break in Vault assembling, we came across an article from December 2015 that slipped past us. It's a ranked list of every Vault package up to #25:
"If you enjoy vinyl, then at some point you have probably seen some of the forward progression that Jack White and Third Man Records have done over the last several years to help propel the resurgence of wax in everyone’s home.
The vault subscription service was launched in 2009 and is definitely part of that movement. Once a quarter, platinum subscribers receive a package in the mail that contains a Vault LP, a Vault 7″, and a Vault Novelty. The Novelty varies from quarter to quarter and has included t-shirts, posters, concert DVDs, and many more unique items.

A few folks not happy with elephant 7" box set….I loved it ,they should have made all sleeves different….I hope they do 7" box sets of satan&icky….Being a collector from a young age I used to love finding 7" & Lps diff cover/coloured vynil,..Aberdeen doesn’t have an independent record store now
number 1 was the best one. subscribing before you knew what you’d be getting was a novelty. the fact that it appears everyone didnt jump at the opportunity still seems weird to me. i still wear the tshirt that came with it, its still the best shirt thats arrived with any of the vault releases. also, only that and the dead weather shirt were any good. the others arrived and were way too small for my shoulders so remain in a cupboard. theres been some absolute garbage in there though. im glad the singles collection LPs got dropped and i dont need an LP of greenhornes demos. id like to see more white stripes studio material. theres been the occasional 7" but surely theres stuff in the vault? or are you saving that for an official mainstream release down the line? lastly, even though third man is holier than thou about vinyl only releases, the vault releases should all come with download codes. yes i can rip them myself, btu thats not the point. you dont have an issue providing them for your usual releases, or for the super limited versions of those releases, so why the hell not the vault releases? ive bought every one, and id very much like to be able to listen to them on the bus. but alas, you continue to believe this would somehow ruin the franchise, which is ludicrous.

Not sure I agree with several on this list. The singles collections were a waste for me. I already had the 7" singles of the ones I liked and was forced to buy a 2nd copy basically with a bunch I didn’t want at all. There are several live recording that are terrible audience recordings and I can do without those also. The white stripes elephant era singles was a rip off, the actually colored vinyl was extremely cheap and thin and the mastering was horrid. The dead weather dodge and burn was also a waste, Lazaretto LP too. I already bought the regular ones, I dont want to the buyt he same shit twice. Hell, 3 times because I pre ordered Dodge and Burn on black vinyl, then thay announce all the 7" will scattered in the next 5 vault packages as well as the full album. NO MORE STUDIO ALBUM OR MATERIAL IN VAULT PACKAGES!!!! WE ALREADY HAVE ITTTTTTTT
Oh man. This is tough, its like saying you love one child more than another. Thank You, Jack and Third Man for fulfilling my audio/visual dreams with every package!
I was fortunate enough to find the single for vault package #1 and the single that has “let’s shake hands” (demo) in one of the local record shops. But I really want the “party of special things” single.
my favorites are #8 white stripes live in mississippi and #2 raconteurs live in london, heavyweight black vinyl and a thick gatefold cover.
I would also thank you for the upcoming acoustic vault but it seems I already have more then a week ago, weird. If I’m right about 29 being more miramba(2005) do you think could get a tri colored 28?? Worth a shot. Thanks for this awesome package!
Top package is 27. I’m just starting The Go ; but man, Two Star Tabernacle killed it!!! Such an awesome glimpse into this little bars history. Obviously the place to be back then!
