The Raconteurs

scums stats: WOULDN’T YOU LIKE TO KNOW?
Hard to believe I’m even doing one this week, but the collectibility has me all keyed up. Multiple covers? Multiple paper colors? Only given out to Ultra Ticket purchasers? SIGN ME UP.
Everybody is gonna want one, so let me just pre-emptively tell you…I don’t have any to spare!
You wanna place bets on the high price these reach on Discogs? Will anyone be able to collect ALL four?
Good luck to those trying, as you will need it.
You know, this song originally wasn’t going to be on the album. But Swank and I had to explain to the band how DAMN GOOD it was. It makes multiple statements that need to be made. The performance is tight…who even knew Brendan could DO that?
People who won't play the game the hard way, let’s do easy. Let’s give away a test pressing for commenters. You’ve got a week to get it in there. Tell me your favorite Third Man moment of the past ten years. I may use discretion or I may just pick a comment at random, so everyone has a chance.
still taking cool comments for the test press? this is one. :)
My favorite Third Man moment of the last ten years was recording my song in the Nashville record booth, February 2018. I don’t mean to sound narcissistic, but that was a personal milestone for me.
Idk if it’s been said yet, but now that Ben Blackwell and Ben Swank are co-owners with Jack, it really is a 3 Man team for TMR!
One Vault member just put the Jack White variant on Discogs for $1500.
I don’t know if it’s a joke or if he’s just that messed up
Taking my son to finally see Jack at Hammersmith last year, he’s a hero to him and to see his face all the way through that gig was just perfect.
My favorite moment was when I got to hear Karen Elson debut her new album “Double Roses” in the Blue Room.
Seeing John C. Reilly perform at the Largo in Los Angeles, picking up my first tri-color, and having it signed by Dewey Cox himself is easily my top Third Man moment. Hoping to make many more!
Vault is Life. Every moment of Vault is precious.
definitely Jacks response to the Edmonton security guard who protested to the 2 women sharing an embrace this past summer on the BHR tour. calling out homophobia and having the security guard removed because of it is great to see!
The eclipse with the Weather Warlock was the most surreal and memorable experience I’ve had at Third Man. Standing in the street in front of TMR, midday and the sky turned black. It was strange, peaceful and awe-inspiring. Yet the moment couldn’t help but make me feel so diminutive seeing such a grand event happen before our eyes. Whatever happened to all of those eclipse glasses that couldn’t be given away?
