!!!LONG LIVE IKEY THUMP!!!
I still can’t believe it. I was front row at Puebla, even when there was no early entry.
Lights went down, the guys came out and played the most amazing show i have ever been to. Everyone looked happy and really excited because of the crowd. I’ve seen recent performances from Jack and he didn’t look as happy as he did here. Then Ikey, you could see he was feeling the music, he gave so much energy in his performance and had a smile on his face the whole time. I have never jumped, danced, screamed, fist pumped so much at a show. Really one of the best experiences in my life. Then this morning, while i was having breakfast just before returning to the city, the news came. It couldn’t be true, it must be some cheap story from a local newspaper, i just saw him play last night! Then the news were confirmed, all of the excitement and happiness from last night went away in a second.
My heart is with him and his family, he is in a much better place now.
Speechless. Prayers and hugs to his family and the Third Man family.
i am so blindsided. This is so unexpected. I am crying right now. Prayers to Ikey’s family. I am just shocked. A sad day.
What sad & tragic news. So very sad for his friends & family. Prayers for all in this difficult time.
Blindsided…a vibrant life reviving numbed appetite. Rest well Ikey.
He was a brilliant musician. His skill and inspiration were so unique. My thoughts go to the family that bore him and to the music family that embraced his genius.
@Belinda Montgomery-Stephens agree w you. Never forget to tell someone you care, love them, that they make your world a better place knowing they are in it. Give your friends and family hugs and kisses because each moment we have here is so fleeting and the little things we do can mean so much. So much more than we ever know. Never forget to Love! Be good to those around you the tiniest thing you do can have a huge impact in a persons life. What you do spreads out like rippels in the water.
He is at peace though his music will live on I would love to hear his solo work
