You guys are funny. Fans have been asking for Get Behind Me Satan on vinyl since before the Vault existed, why should they suddenly pay more attention to those of us who shell out $60 for quarterly packages than to all the fans who’ve been asking for it since before some of us were even around? Jack and the Bens don’t live with their heads in the sand, they know everyone wants it. And when they do release it, it should not be through the Vault, it should be a regular wide release through Third Man Records just like the reissues of the first four Stripes albums. Everyone should be able to have it, not just people who can afford a Platinum Vault subscription. A Vault package that complements its release would be terrific, though— Maybe a live show from that tour that no one knows was recorded, or a 7" of demos from the album, things like that are more appropriate and, I think, more exciting as Vault items. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I want surprises from the Vault, stuff that’s been pulled out of hiding or that I wouldn’t have the opportunity to experience any other way.

Sounds perfect raw,really nice ideas! No do doubt we need this album in our quest for a complete WS catalog on vinyl and what’s a better way than in a killer vault release. I know so many Who Love The album GBMS and would be chomping at the bits for some kind of relesae. Are you listenig TMR? The fans have spoken.

Eric, you said it perfect. I really learned about and got involved with the White Stripes when I listened to GBMS. I had heard a few songs before from my friends but never owned them or followed them. Then I heard that album and right before I got deployed to Iraq I bought all their albums to take over there. Of course that brought in my love of TWS, JW, and TMR which is the really the only new music I buy. I am mainly a 60’s & 70’s music lover but I am a vault member now. I even bought the the Paramount Holiday box set. I don’t need anything extra. I thought of some cool packaging. I thought a 200 gram record with the classic peppermint swirl and make the box look just like the peppermint itself but have it be a circle.

Raw and Eric, I’ll say “Happy New Year” to ya’s and all that stop by to read these comments and I’ll “ditto” your requests.

I really would love for # 19 to be something from Get behind me satan. It is by far my fav White stripes album and it’s a damn shame that there has been no vinyl release! Vault people Listen to the Memebers here that pay quarterly for the things you guys release, Well i know a bunch of us have been asking for the album get behind the satan for a goo while now….so HERE it is i love third Man and most of the stuff you guys do,But i wouldnt even know about third man if that album had not had such a big impact on my life as a musican & as a Music fan. So Release the damn thing…..GIVE US what we want! Thank you! Eric M. Carter

Finally got my vault package the other day. The whole package is amazing. I guess I am the only one or one of the few whole Rawhide and Tobacco vinyl actually looks brown. Either that or I just have better lighting. LOL!! :D Can’t wait to see what the next vault package is going to be.

Listened to it once so far…. Side C is just incredible. Great group of songs right there. Can’t wait to watch the DVD. And I’m really digging both Dead Weather tracks. Great experience for my first vault package.
