We have some great news to start your weekend... Vault package #38 is now shipping!
We are shipping this package in reverse alphabetical order (Z-A) by LAST NAME, starting with international Vault members and then moving onto US Vault members.
Tracking information will be sent out to international recipients today, and to US recipients next week. If you see that your information says 'shipping label printed' and nothing else, don't worry! We have our shipping labels pre-printed, so your package is simply awaiting shipment. If you still do not see an update to your tracking number by December 28th, please reach out to us and we would be happy to look into it for you.
Please note that Vault Customer Service responses will be delayed during the shipping of this Vault package, and we would appreciate if you held any questions regarding package #38’s status until all packages have shipped (about 2-3 weeks), so that we can focus on getting these packages sent out as efficiently as possible. We will return all your emails and voicemails as quickly as possible after shipment of package #38 is complete. If you have already contacted the Vault via email once, please know that your message has indeed been received, and that we are working as quickly as possible to address each message in the order in which they were received. Writing separate emails leads to creation of separate customer service tickets, which in turn causes confusion and adds time to the process of addressing everybody’s questions or concerns. As always, we appreciate your patience during this time!
@Kent- just looked at the specs for turntables in the third man store and the “U-Turn Orbit Turntable with Built-In Preamp” looks pretty sweet and easy. I assume you’d get the valult 10% discount too. Take a look. See what you think!
@Kent – audio-technica has some good basic models and no need for separate pre-amp. Keep your vinyl clean, change the cartridge regularly, and you’ll have no problems. I’m bothered more by misplaced speakers than the quality of the turntable, to be honest. If your old one was good, you can always get it repaired instead of replacing it! If it was crap, treat yourself to a little upgrade. ?
My copy arrived yesterday and looks great. However, it didn’t include the stickers and patch. Instead it has individual pictures of the band members on card stock. They’re pretty cool, but not what was expected. Is there any info about a substitution being made in some packages?
man I can’t wait to get this
Hi Kent. I’m not an expert with set-ups, but you could probably get a good turntable for a really decent price and maybe upgrade the needle/cartridge. Just a thought. Maybe like a good Audio Technica and upgrade to an Ortofon cartridge. Or go for a Pro-Ject. Like I said, not an expert but the cartridges make a big difference and Ortofon’s are pretty nice.
Just got my copy on Friday. This is a work of art. The quality is stellar. I need to buy a new turntable people. I received a music direct catalog in the mail where they are between $700 and $45,000. I don’t want to mortgage my house to spin vinyl. Anyone have any suggestions in the $400-$500 range? Thanks Third Individuals.
México still waiting patiently, sounds like it’s a beauty from what I’m seeing here
Killer copper dripping in funk!!! Detroit can you feel me!!!
Side A a very loud crack sound on the tracks. All in all VERY BEAUTIFUL. Gonna contact TMR for the defect. This was the most beautiful albums put out so far!
Disregard my last comment. I did not see the brown envelope containing the stickers, patch, and card!
