We have some great news to start your weekend... Vault package #38 is now shipping!
We are shipping this package in reverse alphabetical order (Z-A) by LAST NAME, starting with international Vault members and then moving onto US Vault members.
Tracking information will be sent out to international recipients today, and to US recipients next week. If you see that your information says 'shipping label printed' and nothing else, don't worry! We have our shipping labels pre-printed, so your package is simply awaiting shipment. If you still do not see an update to your tracking number by December 28th, please reach out to us and we would be happy to look into it for you.
Please note that Vault Customer Service responses will be delayed during the shipping of this Vault package, and we would appreciate if you held any questions regarding package #38’s status until all packages have shipped (about 2-3 weeks), so that we can focus on getting these packages sent out as efficiently as possible. We will return all your emails and voicemails as quickly as possible after shipment of package #38 is complete. If you have already contacted the Vault via email once, please know that your message has indeed been received, and that we are working as quickly as possible to address each message in the order in which they were received. Writing separate emails leads to creation of separate customer service tickets, which in turn causes confusion and adds time to the process of addressing everybody’s questions or concerns. As for TMR not allowing sharing or reselling, they way they stop people is by banning them from being a member of their club, The Vault. They aren’t hunting them down with lawyers or fining them. Sounds to me like your friend just wants free music. He can call it anti-punk to stop people from sharing, but IP is IP and the industry suffers greatly if people can’t get paid to make music. @AimeeAmanda nailed all the other points better than I could.
@JeffVoltage3 I don’t really agree with your friend’s stance on exclusivity because it is a release that is exclusive to members, even if “anyone” can be a member. The fact is you still have to be one. There is nowhere else you can get this, it won’t be licensed out to anyone else to print on their own and it isn’t available outside of the window of opportunity to sign up as a member for that specific package. So anyone who missed that window because they weren’t sure they wanted to take the chance or they couldn’t afford it at the time, they didn’t think it was worth it, or they were simply unaware will not be able to just go out and buy it later. As for “limited” it is absolutely limited to pre-orders. There are different ways to limit items and this is one.
My package was delivered a few hours ago – last name C in Missouri. Counting the minutes ’til I can get home and listen!
Hope the Canadian postal strike doesn’t mess up this vault package being delivered soon, and I will continue to avoid all temptation to look up the new songs, but as a chain smoking individual who never turns down a drink, willpower may not be my strong suit.
@Michelle- TMR mentioned on Instagram that our copper 7” has an earlier recording/mix and thus is different from what’s being released Wednesday. So that’s cool. Mine should be delivered Thursday but with weather and holidays (and living in the boondocks), I anticipate potential delay. I don’t know about you, but I won’t listen to Racs release until after I’ve experienced the vault treasure. ☺️
