Requests for returns/exchanges of damaged/defective products must be initiated within 14 days of package delivery by emailing vault@thirdmanrecords.com. Requests placed after that time will not be honored. Return/Exchange requests must be settled within 30 days of initial correspondence. Requests that have been responded to by Third Man/The Vault left dormant for more than 30 days after our response will not be honored.
If you still haven’t received your shipment 30 days after receiving your tracking number, and suspect your package may be lost/stolen please contact vault@thirdmanrecords.com for assistance. Missing Package replacement requests must be settled within 30 days of initial correspondence. Requests that have been responded to by Third Man/The Vault left dormant for more than 30 days after our response will not be honored. Missing package replacement requests received more than 90 days after our distribution of tracking information for that specific Vault package will not be honored.
I can’t wait to find out if you’re going to do something interesting with the challenge coins during the tour that would be fun! I think up until now with the previous two there wasn’t enough reason for people to carry them with them. But I’ll tell you what I’m going to have mine on me I think it would be cool if you did A B show where you have to have the challenge coin to get in. Or something similar to the last giveaway poster deal at the pressing plant opening where you had to have the challenge coin to get something special at the merch stand.
Jack White, I imagine, sits around just thinking. Thinking about Stuff. And then he puts it to Music. Boarding House Reach album is one unique album. It’s different than anything else. It’s the Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band of 2018. and that is how music experimentation changes the face of music. My impression of the album has changed after listening to its entirety. Digital, spoken word, many genres and a bit of drama & expression.
Connected by Love, expression & frustration perhaps of his past.
Why walk a Dog seems to have depth into how society become sheep, maybe.
Corporation is an awesome tune combining synth & bongo? Yup, that’s right!
Abulia & Akrasia is spoken word, by C.W. Stoneking, (a character himself) in a Mexican standoff.
Hypermisophoniac is almost too crazy for me when you’re robbing a bank, when you’re robbing a bank (probably the song I’ll be singing all day long!)
Respect Commander is quite the rhythms on acid. Lots going on here. Need to play this in my car. It takes you for a ride through rhythms and an emotional hard guitar solo bringing you back down to a marching cadence to let you off the ride.
Ice Station Zebra you will not be able to get away from because of its rhythms –pushes you against the wall –could be music on a Broadway stage.
Over & Over is the anthem to the album, expressing frustration with the politics and shite today.
Everything you’ve ever learned is so over the top;
Ezmerelda steals the show, is the poster child of spoken word.
Get in the Mind Shaft is perhaps the best song as it includes drama, spoken word, funk, danceable rhythms with something so different but pleasing to the ear. I believe Mind Shaft is the best written song on the album; first impressions. Well today. That could change.
What’s Done is Done is the country tune meets synth of Stevie Wonder.
Yet My favorite song on the album is Humoresque, which is the music of Dvorak, the words of Al Capone, all covered by J. White. It reminds me of the simple classical music you’d learn on piano, but is full of Passion and expression and emotion. Not every musician gets that done, but needs to.
And all this is only my first impression of the album. It will change.

If I’m being honest, I’m a bit disappointed that the 12" album didn’t come with a digital download. I understand when it’s a special vault-only release that isn’t available anywhere else. In those cases, not giving a digital download adds a specialness to it, making the act of dropping the needle onto wax a more exclusive and exciting experience. But this album is a mass released studio album available everywhere and the vault exclusive difference we are paying for is in the packaging and not the music. Dropping $60 on a specially packaged 12" and a limited 7" is expensive enough so I think it is unfair and disappointing that those of us who prefer to possess and not stream high quality digital music have to spend an additional $10+ dollars to either buy the CD for ripping or buy the digital version. I would have expected a little better from Third Man who have always provided great products and value at a reasonable price. Just my two cents.

I received mine just fine, but it is missing the 7" single. I have opened the album and it wasn’t inside. The album is great!!

Yea 45 is light baby blue with swirl. I love the custom answer messages etched on the 45. Great stuff. Sounds great too.
