I guess I’m going to have to teach myself some new skills to get the mp3s. Anyone else interested in doing this themselves, here is a great guide…

@aaron harris-hope you get it soon…trust me, it is worth the wait. I also hope that, after the long wait, you aren’t stuck with an all black one like so many others have received—
psst….don’t tell anyone, but nobody has received a “black” vinyl album that doesn’t reveal itself with light behind it…it apparently is kind of a secret. Also, don’t expect a download code—if for no other reason than it wasn’t promised to you.
Beyond that, get ready to listen to an entertainingly disarming and unexpected album. Plus it totally sounds kick ass on the turntable.
Still waiting for my delivery. Tracking info shows it left Nashville on the 20th and arrived in Chicago the 21st and left Chicago the 22nd. It is now the 28th and a “no scheduled delivery date available at this time.” I’m only 90 minutes from Chicago. I wonder if FED Ex even knows where it is….
Got mine today and love it. Thanks TMR!
Got my package! I have every Vault package since day 1 and the vinyl design for Boarding House Reach is my absolute favorite out of them all. Wellll, wait a minute. :) As I typed that, the Party of Special Things To Do/Ashtray Heart/China Pig tri color came to mind. Since I don’t live near Nashville and will never get a tri, that one is my favorite. Not to mention the red, white and black. Oh, it’s a beauty. My heart still skips a beat all these years later thinking about it. :) Thanks for that. :) So, my point in all this was great job! It is a striking design. How it is absolutely black without an inkling that there is anything special about it (except the music on it of course) :) until you hold it up to light….. just gorgeous! And I’m not even going to comment on how beautiful it is up to the light. We’ve all seen it. :)
@ni9n3r in the vault announcement on 01/12/18, it was stated “click the image below to enlarge & see the true colors of the limited, Vault-edition LP when well-lit…” then when you clicked the image and an animated GIF demonstated how the light would show the true colors.
Not sure you can ask for more than that? lol…
Dear Vault decision makers, if you’re going to ship a colored vinyl LP that only looks colored when held up to a light, you should probably make mention of that fact in the Package information card. Describing the album as a ‘blue and black swirl vinyl edition’ and then showing a depiction of a blue and black album coming out of the sleeve is pretty misleading. I’m not sure if that was the point or not. Just clue us in so we don’t feel like idiots when we waste your time by emailing you asking for a replacement colored version.
Andre Tudor, I’ve not received one here
