[Natty C natural progression into a nice n sleazy easy listening is a late summer beers on the porch dreamboat of a record.

Call it psychedelic garage blues soul kraut rock meets country jazz in an AM Gold battle for your dial. Or whatever. It's just distinctly them and I love it.

The cover art by Michael Eaton is some of the best on record shelves in 2016.

and while i am off topic, my avatar is my favorite bass which is available in the music room, an Ernie Ball Music Man Sting Ray Special Tony Levin Sledge paint edition

I love my music hall mmf – 5.1. se. Out of production now, but the 5.3 looks great. The “se” for the 5.1 is a nice wood finish rather than the black/white/red (i think) options that were offered as generally available when I bought this a few years ago. I run it in my office through an ADL GT40 DAK so I can get great quality to my two Rockit 5 studio monitors, or have a strong piece of equipment to help record vinyl to digital when I want to do that. In what used to be my music room upstairs I have a Denon 200USB running through a Denon AVR-1712 7.1 setup – I say “used to be” because that room is now primarily my 20 year old son’s recording studio, with full digital and analog recording capabilities, a separate sound booth for vocalists (converted closet!) and a full drum kit, percussion set, guitar and bass selection with accompanying amps for clients that don’t bring their own stuff. I’ve gotten off topic, but I am so proud of him and his growing business!

James Carter

Main setup: Thorens TD-165 turntable with AT440MLA cartridge, Thorens MM-008 preamp, Marantz SR7001 receiver, Klipcsh synergy speakers. 2nd setup: AT-LP-120-USB turntable with AT95E cartridge, Pioneer SX-828 receiver, Bifrons HOX-05 speakers. Listening to Sublime-40oz. to Freedom :)

That new Natural Child is sooooooo good.

Raw

Why would anyone actually use that vertical turntable??? Those are so stupid…

MichaelRox

I’m loving my TMR U-Turn turntable. Everyone should pick one up if you are in the market for one. This was a fun post, thanks for sharing.

iiwii

How can you use Crosley’s turntables??!!

John Paul Jones

Love this feature, def fun seeing everyone’s setups! My Music Hall MMF-5.1 has been rocking the Joe Mensah reissue the past couple weeks.

SamKay

Cool setups and great records! My current setup is a 1975 Dual 502CS, a 70’s Marantz 1030 and a pair of Finnish BBX 485 S-BR speakers, 85 litres and 35kg each :D
The last record I spinned was the first album by The Sonics.
