During a quick break in Vault assembling, we came across an article from December 2015 that slipped past us. It's a ranked list of every Vault package up to #25:
"If you enjoy vinyl, then at some point you have probably seen some of the forward progression that Jack White and Third Man Records have done over the last several years to help propel the resurgence of wax in everyone’s home.
The vault subscription service was launched in 2009 and is definitely part of that movement. Once a quarter, platinum subscribers receive a package in the mail that contains a Vault LP, a Vault 7″, and a Vault Novelty. The Novelty varies from quarter to quarter and has included t-shirts, posters, concert DVDs, and many more unique items.
Given that we enjoy both White and vinyl, TFN thought it was a great idea to take a look at the last 25 offerings and rank them. So without any more discussion we present the Third Man Records Vault Packages – Ranked!"
We now know what The Fire Note thinks about past packages, so the question is: what are your top Vaults?
This message beought to you courtesy of Jack White via a Vault Chat .. One of my favorite Vault Releases:….. …..Remember to read when you can…. Remember to listen when you can ….don’t spread hate on the internet, i know you can …. don’t spread hate anonymously either …Spread positivity and talk about MUSIC and ART ….Discuss your bands, their songs, the lyrics, the poetry, the equipment they use to make a sound the paintings you’ve seen, the people you’ve met that have turned you on .. .donald trump is the one spreading hate and should be known for that….. face people look at people look at what they create…. use your power to create if you can’t draw, or write, or sing, you can create goodness you can create positivity .. That doesn’t mean people can walk all over you and you take it …..There are times to fight the good fight and stand up for what’s right that’s not spreading negativity…. whatever you type do it as if the person your referring to is standing right next to you in the room when you type it and see how different it comes out …..Take you and your friends back to the moments of letting music take over your mind …..Lay on your stomach on the carpet and look at an albums artwork and listen with your friends, after work, after school it’s hard to compete with a video game or the internet, music doesn’t stand a chance against all their flashy toys they have a purpose, but music shouldn’t suffer from them all of it should make music better, more creative music is sacred have a good day … HAPPY EASTER … THANKS JACK
Such a tough question… as of this point, I’m going to have to choose #16 Nine Miles From The White City.
My top 3 Vaults at the moment would be, #16, #22, #25. However they are all fantastic! Keep em comin’!!!
Can’t say I’m in agreement with this list, but it was interesting to see, nonetheless.
“Live in Mississippi” – My sister & I took a trip down I-55 to be there that night. It means a lot to me to have on vinyl! What a show… And what gorgeous artwork by Rob Jones.

Raw, it’s only 8 weeks. We’ve waited longer than this for packages before *cough*Wanda*cough*. TMR sent out an e-mail a week or so ago saying 27 would ship at the end of March, so they’ve kept us up to date. Did you knock over your bowl of milk or something?
