Top Vault Package?

Top Vault Package?

During a quick break in Vault assembling, we came across an article from December 2015 that slipped past us. It's a ranked list of every Vault package up to #25:

"If you enjoy vinyl, then at some point you have probably seen some of the forward progression that Jack White and Third Man Records have done over the last several years to help propel the resurgence of wax in everyone’s home.

The vault subscription service was launched in 2009 and is definitely part of that movement. Once a quarter, platinum subscribers receive a package in the mail that contains a Vault LP, a Vault 7″, and a Vault Novelty. The Novelty varies from quarter to quarter and has included t-shirts, posters, concert DVDs, and many more unique items.

Given that we enjoy both White and vinyl, TFN thought it was a great idea to take a look at the last 25 offerings and rank them. So without any more discussion we present the Third Man Records Vault Packages – Ranked!"

We now know what The Fire Note thinks about past packages, so the question is: what are your top Vaults?

I’ve looked over all the vault packages and I believe that #22 Bonnaroo is at the top. 3 LPs a DVD and all the little bits that came with it. it just cant get anybetter.

Love reading you guys’ responses.

Bonnaroo. That show was the show that really got me into Jack, then when the Vault was announced I had to join for that package! Been a member ever since. #17 Willie Nelson and Friends is a close second.

the ones with new albums being released are my favorite

I just started my first vault subscription at vault 21 (darn just missed that cool blue/white Lazaretto…still kicking myself for not coming up with the cash) My favorite was number 22 Bonaroo and second favorite was 23 Amazonian Lights. I am a sucker for the telescoping boxes. Can’t wait for this next one to come out. Hope you guys do more of the box sets. If you guys ever made the acoustic show at Fargo a vault it would definitely be my number 1 favorite.

For once—really, this is the first time—I agree with a magazine’s ranking. (Except that the Dodge and Burn package should have been higher, IMO.) I was at the Southaven show and never imagined that I would someday receive such a wonderful souvenir, let alone one of such outstanding quality.

Favorite that I own: Gold Dollar Vault 13

that I dream about: Live at Mississippi

It’s like asking which one of my children I love more. But in the case of my vault children it would be #13 and Bonnaroo.

The top 2 are definitely holy grails but it was vault 13 that made me pull the trigger as I didn’t have the funds before then and it was a must have. I’d have to say though that vault 23 (Under Amazonian Lights) is my personal fave rave!
