For those of you with the guts to stop traffic and slow dance w/ yuor Special One while the light changes, this is the "Marquee Moon" of 1970s R&B from Memphis.
"I'll Bet You" - Funkadelic

Bonnie Dee -- "Fade into You" - Mazzy Star
"Regular John" - Queens of the Stone Age
Jamie G. -- "Love Twins" - Diana Ross & Marvin Gaye
Yes, they did an album together and you better believe it WILL set the mood. This song has a killer bass line and when Diana Ross shouts out "I want a lover, not a friend!"…the whole world stops. Believe that.
I want to give props to Eric Carmen for laying down the track, "Hungry Eyes" cause it's kind of a jam…and keeping with that Dirty Dancing nostalgia I hold so dear, there is a song on the soundtrack that introduced me to the meaning of sexy...
"In The Still Of The Night" - The Five Satins
This song has all the essential ingredients for a stellar make out party. Enjoy your evening folks…
Ian B. -- "Virtual Insanity" - Jamiroquai

LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL
Jenna Kay -- "Fade Into You" - Mazzy Star
"Shook Me All Night Long" - AC/DC
Ben Blackwell -- "Summer Madness" - Kool and the Gang
There's a bit of a disconnect in my head between "song that makes me feel sexy" and "song that I think is sexy" as the longer I've thought about it, I'm not sure a song has ever made me feel sexy. Hell, I'm not sure if I've ever felt sexy at all. I guess my thought of sexiness has always been attached to other people's reactions to me. I've never had that "I look gooood!" feeling looking into a mirror. Regardless, this song oozes…from the laid back rhythm section juxtaposed with the crescendoing synth curls…well, this manifests some representation of sexy.
Ryon N. -- "The Spy" - The Doors
"Back Door Man" - Willie Dixon
Trent T. -- "Roche" - Sebastien Tellier
"There is Nowhere" - Blackbird Blackbird
"Ai Du" - Ali Farka Touré
Sexy=Beats to me…slow and rolling. My first 2 picks are definitely in that world. The Ali Farka Touré song is in a class of sexy all in it’s own, with it’s his voice over the crying strings and finger picking guitar.

My favorite is a toss-up between "I Want a Little Sugar in My Bowl" and "Do I Move You," both by Nina Simone. Sugar's compelling because it's slightly more suggestive and I find its mix of desperation and directness really charming (oh, and because it's Nina Simone...), but Move You's the kind you play after one too
many whiskies when ya' just wanna' get the point across.
As for the latter, I'm hard-pressed to think of anything someone else could slyly spin to get me in the mood that wouldn't just make me blush. If, however, they had the gusto and good humor to put on "Debra" by Beck, well, I wouldn't hate that at all.
“Her Strut” Bob Seger
“Baker Street”! Great pick!!! Such a good time in my life. . .
Ponderosa by Tricky, live version of Up the Beach by Jane’s Addiction, Doomsday Averted by Raputina
p.s. High 5 @ Chloe C. Nina Simone the god mother of Soul ! #sugarinmybowl
Pour Some Sugar on Me, Def Leopard ( I kid I kid, but in 8th grade it sure worked)
Baker street? I see what you did there.
I used to think John Lee Hooker’s music was pretty sexifying, but then I heard Junior Kimbrough.
“What What” – Samwell
Link Wray “Rumble”. Kind of a dirty sexy vibe, but hey, some folks are into that.
Do I Wanna Know – Arctic Monkeys. Killer riff, sexy lyrics.
