New member, trying to buy seattle tickets, and it’s asking me for a coupon code.?
As a new Vault member, I am attempting to order pre-sale tix to the kc show. It is asking for a presale password, but I can’t find a password anywhere? Any help?
PS: ROJA forgot to ask, are you going to be able to go to the shows in Mexico?
ROJA, You sound like you are having the time of your life. Weren’t you at the World’s Fastest Record show and two Texas shows? And now all of this media blitz. I’m enjoying the media blitz but will miss out on any shows this time around so it is great to see the Jack White band on all of the talk shows and the NPR.org show was fantastic. Also, I know what you mean when Jack White looks at you when you are singing. I remember on the Blunderbuss tour, the very first show of the tour at the Ryman in downtown Nashville with the Buzzards. He was playing “Goodnight Irene” and wanted the audience to sing near the ending by themselves. When he looks at you long enough you feel like you are looking down the barrel of a gun…kind of scary to have Jack White stare at you too long while you are singing and wondering “what in the hell is he thinking”.
Just watched Jack on Conan after watching his breakfast show and I really loved the version of Temporary Ground. I listened to this song in Lubbock for the first time and I love it. This time in Jack knows best: I’d like to thank him for the policy of no photos or video, I really enjoyed the show and can remember everything…It’s all in the heart and soul. @CINCI: It’s impossible not to laugh like a stupid when he’s looking at you…yeah, it happened to me when I thought ooh, he’s looking at me, I gotta sing louder and then ended laughing like a stupid…as Stacelings says, it’s incredible how he creates that intimate atmosphere where you think he’s singing for you or looking at you…Thanks Jack
Wendy, Too funny, you there in Canada. I’m just always watching out for my little rock brother here in middle TN…don’t want to see the big man’s heart keep getting broken. Still getting a kick out of your comment….makes me laugh. : )
Thanks for the input! Can’t wait to rock it in Kansas City!! Went to Third Man while in Nashville, awesome place!! It was the day before RSD, and Jack White actually came through the record store like any other person. It was crazy! Conon and Fallon were great! Can’t wait to hear Lazaretto live. I hope he plays Freddom at 21. I can’t get enough of that guitar on that song!!
What a great performance and interview on Conan’s show last night. And THANK YOU Jack for now announcing at the beginning of your concerts that people should not be using their Ipads , cameras and cells phones. I can tell you how much most fans appreciate it and I don’t understand why venues that musical artists play at don’t help indorse this policy. At one of the shows on Blunderbuss tour there was a man who stood in front of me the whole time with his arms up so his Ipad could record the concert. When I asked him to please stop because he was blocking everyone’s view in back of him he said no. Luckily there was a really nice guy in the front of the pit who saw and let me go in front of him so I could see. At the Lincoln Center Theaters and the NYC Broadway Theaters the venues actually make announcements saying the recording and flash photography is strictly prohibited and they will take away your device if they catch you doing it. It’s such a shame that the concerts venues are not backing up the artists by enforcing this because I know many bands have said they don’t like this. Personally, I think people who spend the whole concerts doing these things are totally missing out on the experience of Jack playing live. If you want to watch it on a little screen you can save a lot of money by just staying home and watching it on your computer. Thanks Jack and the Third Man team for at least trying to enforce this. I know many fans really do appreciate it.
HI Cinci
You seem to be really concerned about jack’s love life?!
He is a big boy- he can handle it!! :-) It is the really special performers that have a natural charisma and JW has it in buckets, but it is also that natural charisma that people can misinterpret. I think you should just try and enjoy the performance without reading so much in to it.
Watched Jack’s interview and two song performances on Conan’s web site this morning…really nice stage set = very intimate for very intimate and well done performances. Lillie Mae seems to be working on Jack’s emotions somewhat = flashback to Alison Mosshart, Olivia Jean Markel and Ruby Amanfu = 3 women all trying to snag Jack while being under his employment in his bands…best to keep it professional Lillie Mae…we enjoy your playing but not your trying to make plays on Jack…the guy needs a break in the “females in the band department”. Stay tough and stay strong Jack. your friend in TN
