If you've been to any of Jack's shows, you very likely saw him and the band play at least one cover song. This year has been an especially adventurous year for Jack's cover song repertoire, and we think it is worth taking note! What better way to document all the excitement than getting all the covers together in one place?!
In the comments section below, please list a cover that you have seen Jack play in 2014 in any of his venue or festival shows. As comments are left, we will be compiling a Spotify playlist, then post it for your enjoyment as the list comes to completion.
Here are a few songs to get you started:
Manic Depression - Jimi Hendrix
300 Pounds of Heavenly Joy - Howlin' Wolf
Born Under a Bad Sign - Albert King
Dead Dogs Two - cLOUDDEAD

Ready? Steady? Shoot!
At this point if no one has officially dropped Three Women on the list…. But rightfully speaking its Blind Willie holdin the original hand on that deck…. Just sayin
@KaliDurga I love to sleuth a good mystery & am so intrigued by this unknown snippet…But WISH I’d heard this mysterious song ’ I’m lookin through my Joan Baez & Dylan collection and hearing gems of the past so well written & sung & that need to be covered by Jack!!
…that’s NO one breaths life into covers like Jack White…
I think Jack should play at Carnegie Hall before he’s old n gray! Lol WE CAN ALL AGREE that one breaths life into a cover like Jack White but let’s get our cover stories straight! :-D and Sugar Were trackin the Louvin Bros & Byrds together girl…
I Asked for Water / She Gave Me Gasoline …. Howlin Wolf Cover at Detroit Fox
Here is something to ponder…. Setlist.Fm is calling Rose With a Broken Neck a Danger Mouse and Daniel Luppi cover…. Maybe someone with an account should straighten that wiki out…
Maybe he should do a command performance concert for all these people who are still living… And a few who are not…. At the Kennedy Center just to share a smile and blessing from them as he carries on the tradition and the sound….
@Nicholas Kruse Yes, I heard him say it was a cover at the show I was at too. Which is why I mentioned that song too. Thank you for confirming I wasn’t hearing things. LOL!
I pity the person who has to wade through this thread for stuff to add to the playlist ;)
The Louvin Brothers – The Christian Life, also done by The Byrds on Sweetheart of the Rodeo.
