Entering Heaven Alive
scum stats: so many versions
Just so happy that this gem is finally out. My fave song here is "A Tree On Fire From Within" with its majestic piano runs having the innate implication of something...big. Important. Impressive.
I'm giving away a copy of the test pressing of the LP here in celebration of the album release.
Post in the comments what the phrase "entering heaven alive" means to you. Be funny, sincere, irreverent, whatever. You have until midnight central time Thursday July 28th to get your entry in. Best of luck.

“Entering Heaven Alive” means to me the idea of living life to the fullest, not taking it for granted, and not finding pain in its ending. In the traditional idea of Heaven, all humans would be “entering heaven dead” and seeing the end of our finite time on earth as an end to our joy and existence, rather than the final bookend that makes it all worth living in the first place. “Entering Heaven Alive” means knowing you lived a life and the next step of existence (or lack thereof) could be taking in joy and peace, instead of fear. We exist as alive finitely and infinitely!

Emotionally experiencing something for the first time, like a summer fling at camp 🏕.

Entering Heaven Alive makes me think of an Edgar Allan Poe-esque tale of a poor soul buried alive.

To me, the term “Entering Heaven Alive” sounds like you’re going on a tour or visiting Heaven. Interesting food for thought… you’d have to do it in a dream or something, right? I mean, it’s like a different metaphysical plane or whatever, right? Drugs? Hmmm

Getting to a place mentally where you feel peace and contentment.

Death: So I guess now I have no dominion?
Me: Ha! Karma.
God: Steady on, that’s for me to decide.

For me, entering heaven alive is when music is so perfect, I get lost in it. Best feeling on earth.

For me is when the spirit of the music and the crowd enter you and lift you up from where you are standing. To the point that it’s almost and Out of Body Experience. you can almost turn around and look at everyone in the crowd and yourself just standing there as your Happy Spirit dances through the air floating like you’re in heaven because the music has elevated you to that point.
Other times sans show close you eyes and let the music do it’s work to the point of astral projection.

CARPE DIEM! Seize the day (gently)! No need to pay the church today for heaven tomorrow, heaven is found in true love.

And frankly, it’s disgusting. Get a room Jack and Olivia. Young love…
