Just so happy that this gem is finally out. My fave song here is "A Tree On Fire From Within" with its majestic piano runs having the innate implication of something...big. Important. Impressive.

How did I get here? It’s fuzzy, but what I can tell you is there wasn’t a lab coat hanging on a hook or plastic vented googles. There were no florescent stained test tubes or different shaped white plastic cylinders with periodic table symbols gathering dust on a shelf. It didn’t come to me in a board room around a table in a Silicon Valley think tank or after micro dosing peyote in a sweat lodge outside of Jemez Springs New Mexico. It wasn’t an algorithm that the first 9-year-old to graduate MIT wrote on the bottom of her shoe or an ancient text found buried in the tomb of Mordecai descendent of Jair from the tribe of Benjamin. It was none of those things, the fact is, I entered heaven alive while eating a waffle on a Thursday morning in the silence of my kitchen while my three teenage daughters slept. Leggo my Eggo.
Entering Heaven Alive means we live on Heaven, simply choose to.
Entering Heaven Alive to me means letting go of the stress of expectations and just enjoying life as it comes.

That minute when the lights go out before the band comes on
“Entering Heaven Alive.” Hmmm. To me, it can mean just living life well. I mean, “entering” can mean “going into,” right? We’re always heading towards heaven, so long as we live a respectful life.
Or it can mean finding and tasting a cola better than any of the existing colas.
To me, Entering Heaven Alive means getting to that place of complete zen while you’re still alive and kicking.
Entering Heaven Alive can be achieved when a person has conquered their Fear of the Dawn. Both albums are bloody fantastic. Thank You Jack!
