Third Man Records is releasing today two new heavy slabs in the Third Man Live cannon, both recorded direct to magnetic tape in our Blue Room live space in Nashville, Tennessee.
First up is underground rock legend Neil Michael Hagerty & The Howling Hex. On these two tracks "Apache Energy Plan" and "Butterfly" the long serving Royal Trux main man brings an off-kilter garage stomp filled with avant-blues aggression. Per his usual modus operandi, Hagerty redefines rock 'n' roll by destroying it. Pick up your copy of the destruction here.
Also on shelves of the only most discerning record stores today is Australia's POWER. Fresh off of their In The Red full-length debut Electric Glitter Boogie, comes two raging live slabs of volume and velocity, that are equal parts hellbent for leather Judas Priest style metal and Cleveland proto-punk ala Rocket From The Tombs. "Serpent City" and "Road Dog" are available now.
