The Nashville Rescue Mission and the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries are dedicated to helping the hungry, homeless and hurting, and in honor of this season of giving, we want to extend an invitation to our Third Man community to give back, too.
Anytime in the next two weeks leading up to Thanksgiving, you can drop off your in-kind donation from the list below at the Nashville Rescue Mission’s donation center located at 616 7th Avenue South (entry by the American flag) or make a $15 minimum donation online to the Nashville Rescue Mission or the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries. Next, bring your donation receipt to the Third Man storefront to immediately receive 10% off in-store and be entered to win our very exclusive Thanksgiving Prize Pack (detailed below).
One Prize Pack entry will be given for each donation of either:
- a) Monetary donation of $15 or more
- b) One turkey (fresh or frozen), of sizable weight
— or —
- c) Three of the following items:
- Cranberry Sauce
- Green Beans, Corn, Mixed Vegetables (#10 cans please)
- Corn Bread Mix
- Cheddar Cheese
- Dinner Rolls
- Sausage
- Coffee
- Dessert Pie
- Stuffing
- Sugar
- Coffee Creamer
In planning your donation, please be mindful of what you'd like on YOUR Thanksgiving table, and shop accordingly.
The Thanksgiving Prize Pack will contain hyper-limited Third Man Records test pressings of Vault 58: The White Stripes Live in Las Vegas containing 3 LPs and a 7”. As if that wasn’t enough, one of the test pressings will also be signed by none other than Jack White! The winner will be chosen at random on Monday, November 20th.
For those of you who would like to contribute but are outside Nashville and Detroit, feel free to give to the Nashville Rescue Mission directly online using our dedicated link. Your donation of $15 or more will automatically enter you into the Thanksgiving Prize Pack drawing. You will also receive an email with a 10% discount code when the giveaway has closed.
