This past weekend the New York Times Magazine cover story flashed a long overdue spotlight on Paramount Records and its incredible phantom performers Geeshie Wiley and Elvie Thomas. An expanded version of their story and all Geeshie and Elvie’s tracks will be included later this year in Third Man / Revenant Records' much-anticipated Rise & Fall of Paramount Records, Volume Two (1928-32).
