Neil Young's A Letter Home is officially out today on Reprise Records. The album is a collection of covers recorded on TMR's very own refurbished 1947 recording booth (the same one you can record in yourself in our Novelties Lounge!) Neil describes the album as "an unheard collection of rediscovered songs from the past recorded on ancient electro-mechanical technology captures and unleashes the essence of something that could have been gone forever."

The regular vinyl version has been available for a few weeks at thirdmanstore.com, but today marks the release of the MP3/CD and Limited Edition Box Set. The set includes a special "direct feed from the booth" audiophile vinyl version, a DVD that captured the original electro-mechanical process, along with comments from the producers and recording engineers, 32-page book, seven 6" clear vinyl record booth discs, and a download card. Purchase the box set in our Nashville storefront or online here.
