“WOULD YOU FIGHT FOR MY LOVE?” MUSIC VIDEO

Jan 25, 2021

Jack has unveiled the music video for “Would You Fight For My Love?,” the latest single from his new album Lazaretto. Directed by Robert Hales, the video was shot at the historic Cruise Room, Denver’s first post-prohibition bar, located in the Oxford Hotel. The video also stars musician and photographer Scout Pare-Phillips and many other musical members of the Third Man Records family.

Continuing in Jack’s tradition of innovation and – having released the World’s Fastest Record earlier this year – penchant for quick turnarounds, “Would You Fight For My Love?” was conceptualized, produced and shot within a 24 hour period. The six-hour shoot came together on less than 12 hours notice.

it’s a shame Jack is not into cinema acting anymore. He is a very good actor.

None antonym for a loveless heart…
Appealingness in the eternal Blue…
Fill in vacuum with sheer Creation…

@Stacelings. Amen! ;-) Jack’s painful, vulnerable transparency with those Soul-Piercing black eyes, is so palpable and unnerving… I’d run straight like a Sinner to that Art Deco Altar/bar and confess everything that man in the blue suit!
…The pounding music and emotional wail of Jack’s voice is so Hot that the contrasting cool sapphire vignette makes it another Jack White (& Robert Hales) video gem.

Powerful.

I agree with @Fiona Adams it’s a very brave move to show vulnerability. I would add it takes a real man to show vulnerability. I think this is why Fight For My Love is one of my favorite tracks on the album and why Weep Themselves To Sleep is my favorite song on Blunderbuss. They both show such beautiful vulnerability. The video is beautifully shot almost like a mini movie and I also agree Jack is an amazing actor. Hopefully one day we will get to see him show off those skills in another movie. As always, great job Jack. Please keep more of your genius coming.

Oh SO good…well done as always! Beautifully shot.

I sometimes forget how well Jack White can act. It felt very personal and uncomfortable like when you witness someone else’s intimate conversation or break up. His eyes are so so pointy sharp, they make me feel guilty. Really glad he didn’t become a priest.
