Jack has unveiled the music video for “Would You Fight For My Love?,” the latest single from his new album Lazaretto. Directed by Robert Hales, the video was shot at the historic Cruise Room, Denver’s first post-prohibition bar, located in the Oxford Hotel. The video also stars musician and photographer Scout Pare-Phillips and many other musical members of the Third Man Records family.
Continuing in Jack’s tradition of innovation and – having released the World’s Fastest Record earlier this year – penchant for quick turnarounds, “Would You Fight For My Love?” was conceptualized, produced and shot within a 24 hour period. The six-hour shoot came together on less than 12 hours notice.

epic jack! with his back up in back up. including the band members was a great detail. in touch and disconnected, supporting yet removed. it’s all there. Blue tone, as in his concerts, conveys a total mood of mind.
Wish I could be this vulnerable, truthful, and fully alive.
Jack rocked FarmAid like a boss!!!
I do not always like to watch videos as they alter the imagery I have already created and attached to a song. I couldn’t pass this one up…too intriguing…I’ll never hear it again quite how I imagined it…but I am not disappointed that I succumbed to watching it. In fact, I will watch it again. A beautiful piece of work. Thank you.
…and apparently he mowed em down at farm aid!
@Stacelings LMAO. sometimes a guy just needs to get behind a powertool to “clear my vision”…
I just want to know who gave him the Flowbee for his birthday.
@Quizze. Yes! Puts me in mind of Jack informing us of the third song in the proverbial trilogy… Imagination speculation here of course mashing up songs and videos : Effect and Cause,(dead leaves n dirty ground vid fits ) Want and Able,(this blue beauty of frustrated desire)…and now we wait with great interest and curiosity for no. 3 ,Mr. White!
The timelessness of this video astounds me… Classic torch song with modern twists and even hyper-sequenced dreamscapes… The emotion and drama of this is stunning… Try imagining that this video is the companion piece to the Dead Leaves Dirty Ground Video and it really becomes an amazing work with surprising continuity!!! What’s Next???… Can’t wait!
I’d rather keep getting more music over movies if it’s a time thing, so I’m ok with it. But yeah, those eyes in this video definitely give you that uncomfortable/peeking behind the curtain of somebody’s personal fights feeling.
