M in ft worth got vault #20 today….
STLBen fyi all my positivity at this rate of movement you will receive yours before i do. hahahaha. yuck it up! still tickets left for the hopeful train ;). i won’t concede yet there is still time before the tenth and you never know maybe that tracking code will move yet. Praying to the weeping angels but not closing my eyes.
Just got it in the mail! It’s great, although I have to wait until I get a new record player to listen to it because mine doesn’t let it play from the middle
First name begins with “W” and I haven’t received an e-mail for the Vault package, but I have already received the black vinyl version.
@Notsoboo just a cheap Crosley cruiser turntable, nothing special. @sean fallin I noticed the same thing, I think that it was intended to be one of the pictures within the book, possibly was replaced by the two page picture. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure that’s what happened
Are the download codes not working until the tenth?
Out of all the complaints I’ve read, none of them apply to mine. I have a question though…in the “advertisement” for Vault #20, there’s a color picture laying on top of the book. It looks like a mirrored image of Jack. Does anyone know what that is?
got my confirmation im a C
@Ryan Richards Yeah, I think it’s probably the matte finish as well. @PJ14 I’m very interested in what type of cartridge and needle you have on your turntable. I know that some needles are better at playing 78s in particular and I think that could make all the difference. I should also clarify to everyone that I was just sharing my experience with it. I wasn’t complaining (though I can see how it could be read that way) and I’m not interested in exchanging my copy or anything. It’s a really awesome experiment with a lot of cool bells and whistles and, frankly, the “static” noise on side 2 adds to the charm and character of the album. I’m very happy with it!
