Hey all,
We have updated the Vault's Policy and FAQ and wanted to make you all aware (if you haven't noticed already). The revisions include a different approach to addressing "flipping" merchandise on eBay and other online sales sites, a 14 day period to return/exchange damaged merchandise after receiving as well as an allotment of 3 business days to rectify a suspended Vault subscription before it is marked as cancelled. Also, please note that the time for each Vault deadline has now moved from 12am CST to 12am GMT on the deadline day.
It is our hope that with more specific guidelines, we will be better able to streamline your experience with the Vault and, thus, have more time and energy to devote to putting out cool vinyl, odditties, novelties, trinkets and objets d'art.
Please familiarize yourselves with these guidelines, so that we are all on the same page. These policy changes are effective immediately!
With regards to the Documents series….there seems to be enough people willing to pay that…since they are sold out…supply and demand. If $40 each for the coloured versions are too much….then just get the regular ones (the bundle for all 3 is $40)?
This suit is NOT black.
This is a great change to your policy, I know what it’s like to put my life’s work out there, sell it out, then after it’s off market someone turns around and sells it for twice as much and there is nothing I can do about it. thanks Amazon and Ebay.. NOT! But anyways, glad to see the change in policy, I was wondering how long before someone noticed the “flipping” going on with vault members. #indieauthor #indiemusic #indieunderdog
I’m with you on the flippers. Not cool, but unfortunately not totally surprising either. Good luck & Best Wishes to you!
Great policy on flippers! Now the special edition vinyl won’t be on eBay the second they sell out in the Vault Novelties store. Thanks!
This is pretty dope!
WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON FLIPPERS?
We want our fans to purchase our records for the same reasons we create our records: because we love vinyl, we love music, and we love art. We do monitor eBay, and if we happen across a Vault member who is selling records meant to be exclusive to Vault members, we are at liberty to permanently terminate that Vault member’s subscription.
@BATMACAMBA: Excellent! Now to get myself some of those odd titties… Oh, and a black vinyl Document volume 3 bundle when that hits the non-Novelties store.
$40 a pop on the Documents plus shipping really stings, guys. I suppose we should blame the flippers for your prices going up? I agree the flipping stuff is getting out of hand and it’s shady as all hell, but these crazy prices aren’t fair to people like me who actually collect. I know the ultimate answer is “Well then don’t fucking buy them”, but I’m really confused about all this. Hell, maybe it’s good business sense to sell your own product for what it will bring on eBay? I dunno. I still love you bastards. Don’t get it twisted. I’m just sayin’
@kali durga por supuesto. updated!
