Yes, you heard that right... Vault package #37 is now shipping!
We are shipping this package in reverse alphabetical order (Z-A) by FIRST NAME, starting with international Vault members and then moving onto US Vault members.
Tracking information will be sent out to international recipients today, and to US recipients later this week. If you see that your information says 'shipping label printed' and nothing else, don't worry! We have our shipping labels pre-printed, so your package is simply awaiting shipment. If you still do not see an update to your tracking number by October 5th, please reach out to us and we would be happy to look into it for you.
Please note that Vault Customer Service responses will be delayed during the shipping of this Vault package, and we would appreciate if you held any questions regarding package #37’s status until all packages have shipped (about 2-3 weeks), so that we can focus on getting these packages sent out as efficiently as possible. We will return all your emails and voicemails as quickly as possible after shipment of package #37 is complete. If you have already contacted the Vault via email once, please know that your message has indeed been received, and that we are working as quickly as possible to address each message in the order in which they were received. Writing separate emails leads to creation of separate customer service tickets, which in turn causes confusion and adds time to the process of addressing everybody’s questions or concerns. As always, we appreciate your patience during this time!
Bill Morris. You should have gotten 3. I’d call if you haven’t already
Tap…tap….tap….still waiting to be blown away by this….looks like delivery is today…should probably warn the neighbors that is might get loud this evening…
Packaging was fine but the sound quality is a c+ bootleg at best. I expect better from third man
I received mine today and can report that the vinyl looks to be in good shape. No warping that I can tell, and I sampled a few songs on each record and they all sound great! I was one of the last to receive mine and I noticed that all of the pieces were packed individually and not all put together in the sleeve. Wondering if TMR packed the late shipments in a different way in order to prevent the issues that many early people reported.
As for the package itself, it does seem like a slight step back in the quality department as opposed to the last few. The jacket isn’t quite as nice and something just seems to be a lacking in comparison. I do like the flag, but I would have preferred it to be half or 1/3 of the size so that it would be better for hanging on the wall in my record room. Overall, I give it a thumbs up. I’d only take off a couple of points due to the slightly lower quality of the jacket and additional items, plus the QC issues that people have been reporting. The music and the records however, are top notch.
I did notice that I only receive 1 8×10 picture and I thought this package was supposed to contain 3 of them? Can anyone confirm this?
David in Delaware received package Tues 10/9. Everything looks good, but a slight warp on white record.
Got mine yesterday. The records lay flat and play loud. Enjoy!
Thanks TMR.
Got mine today, have yet to listen to them, but they passed my visual inspection. I was really worried reading through these comments, but it seems to have turned out fine.
C- Got mine today
Got my package a couple days ago just got the chance to listen to them tonight and they are great I received all the right records and none are warped so I’m grateful for that. I can’t wait for the next vault package the vinyl looks beautiful
I’ve loved all my Vault packages over the years, but this package is egregiously messed up. The music—amazing, fantastic. The packaging—a disaster. The shipping box was packed too tightly, two of my three records are warped (I imagine by the tight boxing and the flag), and the album cover and inside sleeves don’t fit together well (again, too tight, which I fear will lead to additional warping, so I can’t piece it together as intended). How a label that can be so dedicated about vinyl—as a unique listening and tactile experience worthy of value and honor—could ship this is appalling. My enthusiasm for The Vault is based on both the quality and exclusivity of the music as well as the collectible satisfaction of the presentation. The collectible history of this Vault package will likely be around its status as “that one time TMR totally failed to deliver a package worthy of its name.”
