It's contest time! As we mentioned in the original Vault package #26 announcement, we are running a contest involving the black and white iron-on that you all received in the most recent Vault package. Here's the scoop --
All Vault members are encouraged to submit one (1) photo of their finished iron-on project to vaultcontests@thirdmanrecords.com. You can use the iron-on to transfer onto any item, no holds barred. The winner will be subjectively chosen by the Third Man staff, then published in a separate post on the Vault site. Additionally, the top 25 submissions will be posted in the Galleries section of the Vault so we can all see just how far-out you people get with this. This is our subtle method of supporting and encouraging your weirdness. Don't let us down.
The winner will then be contacted and sent an extremely hard-to-find test pressing of the Vault #26 LP -- the White Stripes Live at the Gold Dollar Volume III, pictured below.
The deadline for submissions will be Monday, February 8 at 9am CST. You can make all submissions to: vaultcontests@thirdmanrecords.com. Be original, unique and creative with this project! We would love to see gratuitous use of scissors in all facets of this iron-on contest. Don't hesitate to manipulate the form and format with what you have. And of course, have fun!
@BATMACAMBA will you also post a pic of the Naugehyde version Jack did I’d love to see it. Got my iron on all sliced and diced an on today. Can’t wait to see what everyone did!

you better all think hard about this as i think i have the perfect place to show off my love for this creative endeavour ,trouble is the public may not be able to enjoy the iron on as much as i do till spring,and that is the only hint i will be giving you all as you will just have to see it in the gallery .
I’ve been waiting for this! I successfully ironed it last month. Now to come up with creative ideas for the photo. Not sure about using scissors though… :/

I have a question. I seem to remember people’s definition of “1 picture” seemed a little subjective last time there was a similar contest. To me “one picture” is a single image not a photo shopped collage with multiple pictures from different angles. Just want to make sure we are all on a level playing field here. This is very serious stuff and I take this very seriously.
