@MelieSue I certainly hope you’re not implying that I’m green just because I can understand Alabama_Leigh’s frustration. I don’t have a clue about YouTube tags so I cannot speak to that myself. I’m happy for your success and I even complimented your video on YouTube when I saw it. Just not sure who the “few” green people are. Probably calling people green isn’t the best way to promote positivity.

Congratulations Melanie!

MOON72

Congratulations!!!! :-) :-) :-)

@Alabama_Leigh Except that that is not the truth at all. You’re wrongfully accusing people of something you have no proof of, because it’s a flat out lie. You did this on another forum as well, claimed a girl didn’t have all her tags and she sent you a picture to prove that she did indeed have all the required tags. So nice try. Once again, you cannot see other people’s tags on youtube. You’re just assuming they must be missing tags if YOU didn’t search for them correctly. That’s pretty messed up. I’m not going to engage anymore in this with you. It’s petty, so petty, and myself and the majority would like to keep TMR a fun and positive place. I worked really hard on this and I know a lot of other people worked really hard on their videos as well. And none of us should have to be besmirched by a few people who are green.

Malinda_Lee

Honestly I haven’t paid much attention to the YouTube tagging situation. But @Alabama_Leigh I don’t think you’re being the Wicked Witch. You have every right to your opinion. I myself think that rules were not followed by some entrants. But oh well. C’est la vie. For what it’s worth, I hear what you’re saying and I’m sure I share a little of your frustration. Some others probably do too even if they won’t say it.

Alabama_Leigh

As per expected, I am, of course, being deemed The Wicked Witch of the West, trying to be a downer for the winners and honorable mentions. I already graciously accepted the title of Sore Loser of the Year. I will not, however, accept the title of LIAR. As stated below, I am not the only one who noticed the tags were not there. I also don’t appreciate being condescended to about the workings of YouTube. Those tags were not there. Those videos were not accessible through searching those tags. I know it, multiple other people know it, and I am just not afraid to say it. It would be one thing to be gracious and say, “Oops, I slipped up, I admit it”, but it’s easier to demonize ME. By all means, go ahead, I absolutely do not care at this point. I am not out to ruin anyone’s good time and I certainly know that I will not get anyone’s prize taken away, so I feel I have the right to speak my mind. Those tags were not there on all of those videos. That’s just the truth. I don’t feel it is unbecoming of me to recognize that fact AND the fact that I am confused as to why a contest has rules when the rules were not heeded. You can disagree with me all you want, but I know what was on those videos when they were posted, and I know it’s easy-peasy to add tags after-the-fact. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I am saddling up my broom to ride away and make sure they drop the house on my sister and not me. I have children to hassle and dreams to crush, evidently. Good day.

I know for a fact that the winner Melanie V. followed every rule to a T – I was there when she uploaded the video and we made triple-sure that all the required tags, titles and such were there.

Can’t we all just have fun with these contests? I would hate for some negativity to overshadow the hard work, time and effort that ALL entrants put into this contest.

Malinda_Lee

Hi @Alabama_Leigh, I just thought to look here about the contest (like literally five minutes ago). I’m behind the times… Anyway, I read the comments posted here and I was curious about the rule violations you mentioned. I had some doubts of my own about this whole thing (yes, I entered the contest too). I was wondering if you could share your thoughts with me? Would be good to see what your thoughts are. If you can’t do it here then feel free to PM me on Facebook. I’m Malinda Utter on Facebook and my video entry is under my full name, Malinda Price-Utter, on Youtube.

@Mouhammed Bassaj I saw yours from the time you posted it. I did not see a couple of others until this morning. I’m searching the same thing I’ve searched for from the beginning and they just came up after everyone mentioned that they weren’t tagged.
