The Dead Weather have released the final of four technique and instrument-based videos. In this fourth episode, vocalist Alison Mosshart lets us in on her favorite way to come up with ideas for lyrics. Please note that we don't necessarily condone her unique method, but we trust her and love the results - a lot. The video, directed by Jack White, concludes with a full band live performance of the smoldering voodoo of "Lose the Right” from the new album Dodge And Burn.

This driving while interviewing thing is really taking off!!! Just saw Obama rollin in his vintage powder blue rag top corvette having a casual cruiser chat with Jerry Seinfeld. It took me right bacl to the Blunderbuss days with Gary. It was then that I realized the parallel to Jack chattin with his nephew way back in It Might Get Loud even though this scenario is some wacky Series called Comedy in Cars or something silly like that. Jack with the trwnd getting Seinfeld and Leno and whomever else more positive media! Im guessing Alison may be the first Femme on Wheels Poetry in cars feature though… Damn… I wanna be in that series but my car wont let me… Wakka wakka…

Also: FULL LENGTH FILM? I’m dying. Put the discussion in the extras, please!!! I would love to learn more about JWIII’s technique as a director myself.
I just saw the Tweet that said this isn’t the last we’ll see of these videos, and that is such terrific news. I have thoroughly enjoyed them, repeatedly! I also love the style and feel of the series. Props to JWIII as a director, you’re quite talented, and I would love to hear you discuss directing vs. music-making sometime.

Actually… I think there have been some thoughtful additions to camera angle options and the transition scene with the doorway was good as well as the intro with the birds flying in the air… But its possible that this format just cannot deliver the full visceral nature of this release and its band of stellar proportions of power and sound…. i suppose there is only one solution…. LIVE SHOWS!!!! Likely i wont find anyone to disagree with me on that…. These videos are just a lost place in time! WE LOVE IT LIVE AND ESPECIALLY BECAUSE IT IS THE DÆD WEATHER!!!!!
Interesting notion that the instrument in question is either alisons mind while driving or the car itself… Cool supposition huh?

Myeh… This music video is not my favorite and so its really Alison and her story telling that shines here… The choreography and intrigue are specifically less than intriguing and imight lean towards the development of a bit more diversity and definition as both chamera angle and cut away in thmusic portion of the videography.. Fresh and free makes for high interest… Jaxk Randal kinda jigh…
