This Monday, we had the great pleasure of hosting 20 lucky Vault contest winners and a guest of their choice in the TMR Blue Room. The stars aligned for a listening party for the Dead Weather's new LP "Dodge and Burn," booming loudly through the Blue Room's infamous speaker system.
With the Stone Fox firing up the grills and the drinks flowing, head production manager Ben Blackwell first took group tours of the Third Man headquarters, from the back porch to the shipping and distribution center to the lathe room and even providing a peek into personal offices. Then, everyone congregated in the Blue Room with the Dead Weather themselves for a full preview of the new LP. Needless to say, it was an unforgettable day.

I just keep coming back and looking at these. I’m so grateful that I was lucky enough to be there, thank you! From start to finish you guys made sure the whole day was full of love, fun, and amazing music. Dodge and Burn exceeded all expectations (which were already ridiculously high) I cannot wait for sept. 25!! oh and meeting the band wasn’t too bad either haha As for the fellow fans, most who traveled much farther than I had to, you were great! I’m sad I live so far away from these awesome people that Third Man and the universe threw me together with. Sonia in Arizona—eternally in your debt. Lysette from Oregon….you are awesome, one day I hope to see your beachside shop!

If they do this again, I will literally walk from Ann Arbor, MI to Nashville if I have to. It sounds like it was a magical day for everyone. Congrats to those who were lucky enough to experience the chance of a lifetime!

Third Man Family never ceases to amaze! Such generosity and love for their fans. Of course, would have love to be there myself. So very glad some did make it! Really, looking forward to the new album!
