LIMITED EDITION HATEFUL EIGHT 7" BOXSET

Third Man Records presents our limited edition component to the much celebrated (and Golden Globe awarded) Hateful Eight soundtrack, featuring original scoring by Ennio Morricone. Produced in a limited number of 500, and featuring many hand-made and hand-assembled elements, this is one for Third Man and Quentin Tarantino fans alike. Just check this video and see for yourself!

The included LP is two 180-gram LPs w/ all the posters and booklet from the standard edition, but with a different cover featuring our man QT hard at work on the inside fold out... The 18 gauge galvanized steel 7" box features real bullet holes and a laser etched Hateful Eight logo. The box itself contains the score and soundtrack as a 7" set (on blood red vinyl w/ black streaks) inside 8 separate sleeves featuring all members of the Hateful Eight from the film, as well as a metal noose pin and a replica of the film's famed "Lincoln Letter."

We'll have editions for sale in-store only (no online sales) in both our Nashville and Detroit stores on January 25th.

I’m looking forward to Vault 27 but this would have made an excellent vault package :(

Great score and cool looking set but I too am disappointed that this is an in store item only. I purposely didn’t get the regular edition when they had the vinyl sale waiting for the special edition. Now I just have to travel the 1600 miles from Phoenix to Nashville to get it…

Man oh man I saw the Hateful Eight twice in 70mm and it was amazing! The score was spectacular and when I saw that Thirdman got the vinyl rights for it I was very pleased. Especially pleased since they announced that there would be a limited edition coming up so I waited a month and……. It looks amazing! BUT it’s being sold a few thousand miles from where I live. Hopefully I have enough cash to get this from a greedy flipper on Ebay because this is a must have for me. Please make this widely available for true fans of the soundtrack who don’t want to just profit off of this.

Amazing set, but terrible that it was teased and there is no online sale component for the entire rest of the world outside Detroit and Nashville. eBay prices are not going to be kind on this one.

Production of those sets is no insignificant effort

Ebay flippers, START YOUR ENGINES!

The “ordinary” is an amazing record in itself, just to put it in perspective

This is playing out like a tragedy as opposed to a a great thing…. I hope all this is toward a wonderful resolution of some sort or another!

Okay, I’m not gonna lie, but as a guy who doesn’t live in one of the two cities in the world where you can get things like this from TMR, I’m getting pretty annoyed. Waiting patiently for the promised special edition to come out out was tantalising, only to be slapped in the face by this. I’m guessing that there will be no shipping wide special release, so I’ll just get the middle finger pointed at me as I get the ordinary I guess. Sigh…

Exactly so, Izzy_B. as I cry in my Lazaretto of pain and sorrow. Nashville and Detroit are almost precisely the same distance away from me-2400 miles. About a month by stagecoach on the Oregon Trail. Hateful…on the practical side, can you imagine how much this would cost to ship a galvanized steel box, et al. ?! Might as well buy a plane ticket.
