Jack is honored to announce that he will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at the Detroit Tigers game on Tuesday night, July 29th. Additionally, the Third Man Rolling Record Store will be parked at Columbia Plaza at Comerica Park from 4pm - 7pm. We want to celebrate here in Nashville too, so we're hereby calling the 29th "TIGER TUESDAY!" Come into the shop wearing your Detroit Tigers gear and get 15% off your purchase. Some exclusions apply. You might also use this as an opportunity to come take a look at (and be the first to sport) our new Third Man Records baseball cap!

DETROIT TIGERS FIRST PITCH
…but Jack makes it difficult!
Me too@ Cathryn! A love of baseball just another affinity I feel towards Jack…tryin’ not to be “groupie stoopid”
Love the hats! Glad to see Jack is also a huge baseball fan.
Love baseball & baseball caps, but this one doesn’t do it for me. Don’t like the (velcro?) enclosure and pre-bent brim. I’d love to see a Starter style cap… or go the other direction and get Ebbets on the line – do a classic felt style cap. Actually, that might be perfect… In any case, looking forward to the game!
Yes, NEED several!!! Gonna suit up the whole dang family out here under the high desert sun!
Thanks been trying to get my husband to do this for several days since I found out it was Christmas in July that day. Jack throwing the first pitch now he is totally in and we get to peruse the red too that day I bet awesomeness! What next whatever it is I can not wait see you starting in pittsburgh!
Okay I was a little off base ;-) So, putting it this way the average pro baseball player salary is $ 3 mill. a year. Highly skilled athletes try to hit a ninety mph hardball in a game of strategy, strength, endurance and accuracy. In rounders you hit an underhand-thrown softball and tag 4 poles stuck in the ground. on the playground. ;-D (Thank you for sending me on a search re:rounders. I was curious myself) I’ve loved baseball all my life because my dad did & played in leagues til he was in his late 70s. We listened on the radio-San Francisco Giants. We played it, watched it, and still do. The best documentary ever done IMO is “Baseball-A Film by Ken Burns”. Great Historic film footage with a fascinating view into America’s past through the game of baseball. Hey batter, batter, Swing!! Lol :-)
I can get one please?!?!?!
Destijl ,Do you really want to go there. ;-D Sounds like a loaded question! Besides $75,000 a game there’s major differences as I read it.
What is the difference between baseball and rounders?
