DETROIT TIGERS FIRST PITCH
I love it… I love everything about it….
Lol@Roja-White Christmas! :-). Another “Happy Coincidence”: So the Salvation Army(the best of charity orgs. IMO)receives donations thru the Tigers annual Christmas in July game-a nod to S.Army’s bell ringing Santas of course. And here comes Jack White to pitch on this day who has said when he was a child he thought people were saying “Seven Nation Army” instead of “Salvation Army” and that’s why he picked that song title. A coincidence?? Ha! I think not. :-)
A White Christmas in July for the Tigers…well done Jack, I bet it was a really good experience for your kids, congrats, you looked very happy and a little nervous of course your first pitch =)
Jack should have worn his TMR brim to haul it in… what a dream come true though and pitching to Santa… anither brilliant marketing ploy …. hats off and game on!
Great pitch by Jack last night. They did not air the game here in NYC but I got to see the video and pics of it on youtube and some online articles. At first I didn’t understand why Jack was pitching to Santa and why the Tiger mascot was dressed in a Santa Suit but I later found out The Tigers were doing some kind of Christmas in July promotion at the park last night. I didn’t get to see the whole game but I hope Jack’s hometown team won.
@Alabar The Yankees are playing the Tigers soon maybe we should invite Jack to the game. LOL!
There was something so perfectly strange about Jack pitching to Santa!!
So fun! You looked nervous twisting you hair as you walked out. Husband says good one you made it across the plate! Your kids gotta be excited thinking you got an in with Santa look out christmas list. Haha
Good eye. Jack! Over the plate…However, Santa was a little slow on the uptake – but it is July! Isn’t he usually still hibernating…
Jack you looked great!
Weather reports are saying the game will probably be rained out tonight :/
Hoping that’s not the case.
