BLACKWELL'S RECORD OF THE WEEK + GIVEAWAY!

Olivia Jean

Raving Ghost

Oh man, a record release day coupled with tour kick off in the Blue Room is always a special moment in the TMR world. And for it to be with near-and-dear to our hearts family member Olivia Jean? Well that makes it all the more of a celebration.
And OJ's third full-length record at Third Man is her biggest and best yet. I lobbied REALLY hard for the album to open with the song "Spider" (my fave here) and even though I got voted down, I can certify that this album cooks.
So in honor of the big day, I'm giving away a copy of Olivia's "Raving Ghost" album to a user picked from the comments on this thread. Maybe I'll be discerning, maybe it will be random. So no harm in posting multiple times, of being funny, of finding some sort of response thematically tied to the ideas of "raving" or "ghost." Have fun with it. Or don't. I'm not a cop.
Comments need to be posted here no later than Thursday May 11th to be considered for inclusion. Thems the rules.
Rock and roll!

You need to just give this record to me for being such a huge fan. It only makes sense. It’s science. The end…

A good record never dies, it haunts you like a ghost & leave you raving.

Is “Orinico Flow” a collab with Enya?

The performance at sxsw was legit. blue diamond-shaped diamond. Good vibe w/bandmates

I’ve no shame.

Spectral dance ignites,
Ethereal beats take flight,
Ghostly rave unites.

AND, in addition to my earlier comment, I just bought 2 tickets to her Phoenix show.

Sooo, good business practice theory & technique dictate that you cough up the vinyl record to me gratis.

My vault collection (12”s only) starting from Icky Thump mono was stolen from my storage unit in January. I need a win, Ben.

I’d rather be raving than behaving.
(Great album, OJ!)
