Oh man, a record release day coupled with tour kick off in the Blue Room is always a special moment in the TMR world. And for it to be with near-and-dear to our hearts family member Olivia Jean? Well that makes it all the more of a celebration.
And OJ's third full-length record at Third Man is her biggest and best yet. I lobbied REALLY hard for the album to open with the song "Spider" (my fave here) and even though I got voted down, I can certify that this album cooks.
So in honor of the big day, I'm giving away a copy of Olivia's "Raving Ghost" album to a user picked from the comments on this thread. Maybe I'll be discerning, maybe it will be random. So no harm in posting multiple times, of being funny, of finding some sort of response thematically tied to the ideas of "raving" or "ghost." Have fun with it. Or don't. I'm not a cop.

I hope its not TOO LATE or too much TROUBLE, but I NEED YOU to to be my fairy GODMOTHER and allow FATE to DITCH the others- but DON’T LEAVE me out of the RAVING GHOST album giveaway. I’d have more FUN than a SPIDER dancing the ORINOCO FLOW in tap shoes.

I’m loving the album already. The title track, Fun and Spider are my favorites. I’m really liking her Enya cover too! It’s a great twist on that song.
There was an unfortunate coincidence with the song Spider.
I was driving to the doctor’s and took the opportunity to listen to an album in the car kid-free, that album being Raving Ghost.
As I was jamming along to Spider I started thinking of critters that are under appreciated such as snakes, bats, spiders etc. And in the moment I felt a tickle on my knuckle as I was steering the car. It was a freaking spider ON MY HAND! Did I freak? Slightly, yes but more so over the coincidence than the Spider itself.

We may’ve bought 3 of these at DC9 when she was signing. I’ll need to take a look but always interested in trying to win another because I’m greedy & selfish. Olivia Jean awesome last night and gave us an encore!
