You know, this song originally wasn’t going to be on the album. But Swank and I had to explain to the band how DAMN GOOD it was. It makes multiple statements that need to be made. The performance is tight…who even knew Brendan could DO that?

Late again! I missed seeing the White Stripes at the Berkeley Greek Theater when the last WS tour was canceled. Then I missed signing up for the very 1st Vault package by 3 minutes (something about Pacific time vs Central time cut-off), but have been a Vaulter ever since. Finally got to see The Raconteurs at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles on the first tour, and again at the Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco (along with The Kills!). It’s a shame people are selling these special 45’s – I would play them on a jukebox. That’s where the previous Raconteurs 45 (Vault package #38) sits right now, with heavy play rotation! I hope they release some more 45’s after the new record is released.
