Vault package #22 -- the Jack White Bonnaroo package -- is now officially leaving Third Man headquarters! We are shipping in reverse alphabetical (Z-A) order by FIRST NAME, starting with international Vault members, then moving to US Vault members. USPS tracking info will be sent with all shipping notifications.
All packages will be shipping out as quickly as possible, but we cannot guarantee all packages' arrival by Christmas.
As usual, please hold questions regarding package #22's status, condition, etc. until all packages have shipped (about 3 weeks), so that we can focus on getting these packages out to you guys as efficiently as possible.
And, of course, keep your eyes fixed on your mailbox over the next few weeks and don't forget to enjoy the holidays!
wonder what the poster is?
By some strange quirk I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a shipping notice, but all my packages have arrived without problem. So way too early for folks to start worrying yet. :-) Also, every quarter they vary the order in which packages get shipped, and they spell out what that order is, so no need for anxiety on that front, either.
Just wanted to add my thanks to all at TMR for working so hard to put this Vault together. It will be a great Christmas present whenever it turns up.
I’m sorry if I seemed demanding, it’s just the first time I will be getting the vault and I just can’t wait to have this baby in my hands. But none at all that they have to work overtime so that can happen sooner! Take your time, with the black Friday sale it’s no wonder there is a lot to package and ship.
Steve Furness, traditionally the packages consist of a 12" vinyl release (single or double album), a 7" single, & some sort of “ephemera” (a DVD, book, poster, shirt, etc.), but there have been variations from this format. This is a pretty substantial variation though. I’ve gotten approximately six or seven packages & this is the biggest that I’ve seen. Can’t wait to get mine. Hope the vinyl pressings are nice & quiet…
Steve this is only my third, but have been watching pkgs slip through my fingers quite some time before I grabbed on tight. I hav w never seen anything quite like this as far as amount of content if that is what you mean by quantity. If you mean by members no one really knows. Membership fluctuates with each package offering and no one knows the amount of members but TMR. Nor will it be reveal to any of us the amount of members. So very exited to put this on the record player. Thank You so much Third Man Hive working extra hours with such care to get this out to us all! Much appreciated!
This will be my first Vault package. I’m fairly new to vinyl — or, I haven’t really used vinyl since I was in the fifth grade. I’m a former mp3 devotee who has, uh…seen the error of his ways. Anyway, I hope this to be the first of many great Vault packages. Question: This seems to be a fairly comprehensive release; have previous Vault releases been this large in scope and quantity?
Very true @Rick Kanas. Shout out to all the third man employees doing the lords work on their day of rest. Y’all the real MVPs.
Everyone needs to relax and take into account that the TMR staff are doing their best to provide the best customer service for us. Not sure if anyone saw the video posted on Facebook today but the Third Man Vault staff are starting their work week a day early and are packing vault packages on a Sunday!!!
Maybe it goes in alphabetical order per country? It seems to be more confusing than it seems to be.
