Yes, the rumor is true... Vault package #43 is now shipping!
We are shipping this package in reverse alphabetical order (Z-A) by LAST NAME, starting with international Vault members and then moving onto US Vault members.
Tracking information will be sent out on Monday. If you see that your information says 'shipping label printed' and nothing else, don't worry! We have our shipping labels pre-printed, so your package is simply awaiting shipment. If you still do not see an update to your tracking number by April 3rd, please reach out to us and we would be happy to look into it for you.
Please note that Vault Customer Service responses will be delayed during the shipping of this Vault package, and we would appreciate if you held any questions regarding package #43's status until all packages have shipped (about 2 weeks), so that we can focus on getting these packages sent out as efficiently as possible. We will return all your emails and voicemails as quickly as possible after shipment of package #43 is complete. If you have already contacted the Vault via email once, please know that your message has indeed been received, and that we are working as quickly as possible to address each message in the order in which they were received. Writing separate emails leads to creation of separate customer service tickets, which in turn causes confusion and adds time to the process of addressing everybody’s questions or concerns. As always, we appreciate your patience during this time!
Can somebody share if the release includes a digital download.
Yes, I got half torn paper, too.
I got mine today in the UK, looks great. Can I check though, the list of contents in mine looks like it is a torn half sheet of paper, is that the same for everyone? Thanks!
what a lovely souvenir of an exciting year for The Raconteurs and their fans! The Blu-ray is something special. The flexi-disc is a fun novelty.
I would like vault members to (honestly—no gushing or bashing please) weigh in on the quality of the live recording. I do not have a top-of-the-Jackintosh system or a bottom-of-the-barrel crusty crosley. But it sounds a little…well…not as clear as I would expect. If that’s the nature of the recording (impossible to tame the wild, raging rhino of the raconteurs live), wonderful. I just want to be sure it’s an accurate pressing. Or maybe my system isn’t up to the task. You’re thoughts, please brother and sister vaultees.
On a side note or two:
I would love a standard vinyl release of the FAME studios tracks (and who wouldn’t!). 7", 12", 10", whatever.
The standard trifold LP container is a pain in the ass. Getting that middle disc out without the others slipping and sliding into the fold is annoying. At the very least, seal up the inside joints of the outer discs. i now the creative minds at Third Man Records and Upholstery can come up with a clever, unique and very functional design.
Again, thank you for the music!
got it…G in Ontario Canada….nicely done TMR Staff…thank you….
Flexi disks are usually square.
It doesn’t have to be round to play.
The record grooves are round.
Is the flexi disk supposed to be a square is it supposed to be cut? Am I supposed to cut it to make it round?
A blessing to receive in these times of social isolation. At the very least my neighbours will know I am home and what I am listening to.
Mine arrived in the UK today, literally minutes after I had been out that morning to the eye hospital! Ears unaffected so I am please to say I am spinning that gorgeous green vinyl right now.
ooh, mine just arrived. looking forward to listening to it this evening. looks amazing as always
