Yes, the rumor is true... Vault package #43 is now shipping!
We are shipping this package in reverse alphabetical order (Z-A) by LAST NAME, starting with international Vault members and then moving onto US Vault members.
Tracking information will be sent out on Monday. If you see that your information says 'shipping label printed' and nothing else, don't worry! We have our shipping labels pre-printed, so your package is simply awaiting shipment. If you still do not see an update to your tracking number by April 3rd, please reach out to us and we would be happy to look into it for you.
Please note that Vault Customer Service responses will be delayed during the shipping of this Vault package, and we would appreciate if you held any questions regarding package #43's status until all packages have shipped (about 2 weeks), so that we can focus on getting these packages sent out as efficiently as possible. We will return all your emails and voicemails as quickly as possible after shipment of package #43 is complete. If you have already contacted the Vault via email once, please know that your message has indeed been received, and that we are working as quickly as possible to address each message in the order in which they were received. Writing separate emails leads to creation of separate customer service tickets, which in turn causes confusion and adds time to the process of addressing everybody’s questions or concerns. As always, we appreciate your patience during this time!
ps i like a gritty dirty live recording and I miss bootleg cassette copies of copies; they sound like home
it arrived and i am so grateful and happy
@Raw, thank you for an honest assessment of the sound quality
@Raw why do you continue to purchase it………… you complain about every vault but take no steps to change your habits
I’ve had every Vault release since #18. This one is by the the worst overall. Let me explain. The sound, the single most important part of music…right?!?! Anyways, why does this recording sound so “distant”? It sounds like it was recorded from like 20-30 feet away. The actual sound is not even good. There are much better examples of live, hell the Bonaroo is amazing. Second, the actual album feels flimsy, curious at the actual vinyl weight. The sleeve for the middle record in that style sucks, if doing a tri-fold, you gotta have the opening on top with both hinges sealed. Third, is there a reason for a flexi disc??? Besides the cheesy Amazon plug on it, just why? Seems like a way to be cheap honestly. I think in general, the old days of the vault are long gone. I’ve said it before, to make a huge release every quarter and with almost all being connected to Jack White, there just isn’t enough material. I say this, take the current Vault to #50 and end it. Then make a new format, either annually or bi-annually and really give something good and charge more around $75-100. Honestly vinyl has made such a comeback, I’d like to see maybe just a yearly Vault release at RSD. Granted I have over 150 albums total so maybe it’s just the size all this shit is becoming lol. Anyways, I got a pretty great setup and this album just sounds crappy. Cool look, great band and songs but I’d rather listen to a different TMR live album.
Love this vault and the Blu Ray was fantastic! Thanks TMR!
Oh well, I tried. Enjoy the gush, vaultees. I’ll have to take this up with the fine folk at TMR.
HOW YOU GONNA TOP YOURSELF TMR!!!! Hats off to you guys thank you!!!!!
Jack and Brendan’s version of I Fought Piranhas is my new favorite thing that will give me life through coronachaos and election fear. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAASE, Ben or whoever makes these decisions, could you please put the audio of that Garden Bowl show up on Nugs so I can listen to it in the car as well as watching it? Pretty please???
So your LPs sound great? I don’t know, I wish I had another system to play it on—especially side one—it doesn’t sound great, a bit more distorted than i would expect.
