VAULT #36 NOW SHIPPING

VAULT #36 NOW SHIPPING

The day you've been anxiously waiting for has finally arrived... Vault package #36 is now shipping!

We are shipping this package in alphabetical order (A-Z) by FIRST NAME, starting with international Vault members and then moving onto US Vault members.

Tracking information will be sent out to international recipients today, and to US recipients next week. If you see that your information says 'shipping label printed' and nothing else, don't worry! We have our shipping labels pre-printed, so your package is simply awaiting shipment. If you still do not see an update to your tracking number by July 3rd, please reach out to us and we would be happy to look into it for you.

Please note that Vault Customer Service responses will be delayed during the shipping of this Vault package, and we would appreciate if you held any questions regarding package #36’s status until all packages have shipped (about 3 weeks), so that we can focus on getting these packages sent out as efficiently as possible. We will return all your emails and voicemails as quickly as possible after shipment of package #36 is complete. If you have already contacted the Vault via email once, please know that your message has indeed been received, and that we are working as quickly as possible to address each message in the order in which they were received. Writing separate emails leads to creation of separate customer service tickets, which in turn causes confusion and adds time to the process of addressing everybody’s questions or concerns. As always, we appreciate your patience during this time!

Just unpacked mine and I swear I can literally feel Jack’s love of Don Van Vliet in every single piece. This is the first time I can recall when I have truly been excited to receive something on colored vinyl. The fish-scale coloration LOOKS like a Captain Beefheart song, if one could be translated into color! Going to spin Pachuco Cadaver as soon as I get off the computer, and I can’t wait till this weekend when I can carry that fabulous tote bag around. But is this the first Third Man release with no cryptic runout etchings???

Kudos to the packaging department! My package stayed out all night in the rain, accidentally. The cardboard was soaked but contents inside, packaged perfectly, bone dry! Now for my first Captain Beefheart listen, thank you TMR!

When I signed up for the Vault years ago, it was with the prospect of receiving records like this one.

If you’re open to it, Trout Mask Replica can be a transformative experience or at the very least some kind of revelation.

Just received the TMR package which is stunning. The sound quality is superb, revealing the music in all its complex glory. I can’t imagine any other TMR release (although I doubt there will be one) surpassing this. Many thanks from a 45-year-long Beefheart fan. Now what about Decals and Spotlight Kid :-)

Even though my wife was appalled by the Trout/Carp mask :), I thought this was great!!! Thanks for such a unique Vault!!! Everything I got looked perfect!!

nothing has happened on my tracking info for two days now (R on the West Coast), but still holding out hope that it’ll be here by the end of the week! :-)

Hi Jason, This will be my 1st listen of this work and your post touched on my apprehension of that :) I am a Zappa fan and while I still haven’t heard all of his work, many times 1st listen didn’t work for me. In years past, when talking music with friends, Zappas name would come up. If they weren’t aware of anything he did, I would offer to play just one track. Then of course, I selected The Adventures Of Greggery Peccary!
I will reply back and say how I liked this after a listen, unless my brain explodes…

Jason wrote:Ive never loved such a painful to listen to album as this. Heard it the first time back in 1986 when I was 12, when I heard the dust blows forward and the dust blows back and thought it was a bad dub onto cassette until I got a copy on vinyl 20 yrs later realizing thats just the way it sounds. PEOPLES BRAINS ARE GOING TO EXPLODE, I’m sure some will be offended too. Dachau Blues, Dachau Blues.
