VAULT #31 NOW SHIPPING

VAULT #31 NOW SHIPPING

Ladies and gentlemen, the moment you've been waiting for is finally here...Vault package #31 has begun shipping! We are shipping this package in reverse alphabetical order (Z-A) by FIRST NAME, starting with international Vault members and then moving onto US Vault members.

Tracking information will be sent out to all recipients by early next week. If you see that your information says 'shipping label printed' and nothing else, no need to worry! We have our shipping labels pre-printed, so your package is simply awaiting shipment. If you still do not see an update to your tracking number by April 10th, please reach out to us and we would be happy to look into it for you.

Please note that Vault Customer Service responses will be delayed during the shipping of this Vault package, and we would appreciate if you held any questions regarding package #31's status until all packages have shipped (about 2 weeks), so that we can focus on getting these packages sent out as efficiently as possible. We will return all your emails and voicemails as quickly as possible after shipment of package #31 is complete. If you have already contacted the Vault via email once, please know that your message has indeed been received, and that we are working as quickly as possible to address each message in the order in which they were received. Writing separate emails leads to creation of separate customer service tickets, which in turn causes confusion and adds time to the process of addressing everybody’s questions or concerns. As always, we appreciate your patience during this time!

Raw: Didn’t you and I once have some good conversations here about the Paramount sets, or am I confusing you with someone else? I don’t deny loving what Third Man stands for and what they create and if people want to call me a fan-girl for it (please note the correct gender, thank you), then that’s their issue, not mine. I’ve been (hopefully constructively) critical of TMR before, but you apparently either weren’t around then or weren’t paying attention. As a matter of fact, I was once called out by someone else for complaining too much. Y’all need to compare notes and get it straight, am I a fan-girl or a Complainy McComplainerson? Either way, I hope you enjoy your Vault 31 when it arrives.

Holy shit, Kali Durga is complaining about TMR?!?! lol, is the honeymoon over. It was always ultra cringe worthy how much of a fanboy you were. Today is a day to remember for all Vault members haha

This is a very beautiful, but slightly flawed, package. After opening it and looking at the details and listening to the 7", my first thought was that you all had really done right by Margo with this presentation. The vellum double sleeve on the album is a terrific idea that I hope you’ll do again (and this one is personally special to me because I can see the block where I work on that vintage map of D.C.). The Blue Room Sessions single is fantastic, a little treasure that any Margo fan who didn’t subscribe for this package should be sorry not to have. The ACL show dvd is excellent. But the Hamilton show lps… My main criticism is one that you probably won’t hear from anyone else (though I think I did see a comment when this was announced from one other person who said he was also at this show)— I understand wanting to limit the number of songs per side for quality reasons, but I’m having trouble figuring out why the setlist was hacked up so much. Did it really have to be arranged so out of order? And I question why Yeah You’re Right and such a looooong period of crowd noise at the end of the show were included yet All American Made was left out. Was that perhaps Margo’s choice because AAM is hopefully going to be included on her next album and she didn’t want a prior release of it? I can’t think of any other reason that makes sense to leave out that song, and About To Find Out and This Town Gets Around and her between-song comments pertinent to that particular day. Again, this is not a critique you’re likely to hear from anyone else, but I do think some different choices would’ve turned this good live album into a truly great one. And I really hope my other criticism is one that you won’t hear from anyone else, too— Even after cleaning the records, there’s way too much skipping. There are multiple skips through Desperate and Depressed and a handful scattered through side C. Makes me really wish this could’ve been the first Vault package pressed in the Detroit plant. But those issues aside, I do feel that you all gave Margo a wonderful honor with this package. Overall, it is absolutely gorgeous and I’m very happy to have it (though I will be e-mailing you when shipping is done to ask for a new A/B lp because Desperate and Depressed is one of my favorite Margo songs).
