The last Vault #28 package went out yesterday, so be sure to keep an eye out if you haven't received yours yet!
I'd like to thank all of y'all for your patience and understanding, and a big big shout out to our wonderful Vault team for getting these out the door.

Once again, thank you so much for your patience and understanding. Vault #29 is going to be NUTS!

@James Carter: Right channel is way worse for me, makes listening to the quiet songs unbearable and the louder ones just annoying. It is really a shame because it is an amazing performance and a beautiful set but I would trade the box set for a paper sleeve with a clean sounding record inside it in a heartbeat. Hearing so many reports of surface noise issues is making me really nervous, I really hope it is not an issue with the entire pressing as I do not know how they would proceed…
@adam Franklin: No surface noise at all on your record? If so that is awesome and gives me hope that those of us with defects can just get a replacement mailed ASAP, need to hear ’you’ve got her in your pocket’ distraction free…
Still waiting, tracking says delivery on 7/11. I’m not sure why mine was shipped so late (first name starts with a G) and why it would take almost 2 weeks to get here.
On the Idaho recording I am experiencing the same issues of the surface noise and spots where it pops and jumps out of the groove. I have a turntable where I can adjust the counter weight and it seemed to help a little by setting the weight a little heavier although that weight not recommended for the stylus I am using. Is a shame because such a great live experience for those of us that were not there but not sure how these are tested before mass producing and sending out to us. I have not spun the Alaska one yet and will try to listen to it today.
About the surface noise…A/B very faint. C/D very loud. After a good cleaning on my spin clean still very loud. One thing I noticed is the right Chanel is worse than the left channel on side C. Side D is pretty equal volume of noise.
Beautiful box set :)
Beautiful package, unfortunately sides B and D of my vinyls have some pretty bad surface noise. I know this is a live recording and some ambient noise is expected (even welcome) but these two sides have that distinctive surface noise sound where a scratching type sound keeps coming back each time the record rotates. None of my other records do this except my special edition Lazaretto has the same problem on side B and I kick myself everyday for not reporting it. Hope Third Man can take care of me, they have yet to let me down.
Thanks TMR. An awesome package! The planning and hard work that goes into putting these packages together is greatly appreciated. Really looking forward to #29 as well.
Wonderful one ! Great job… ;-)
This has been a terrific vault addition. No problems whatsoever with mine. It’s nice to get an acoustic recording that is actually acoustic, ie, no instruments plugged in. The ensemble playing is superb. I think this might be my favourite vault.
L in Australia – still no package but not worried. Shipped on June 16, FedEx tracking last listed it as ‘in transit to destination country’ on June 20 – thinking it will take a while but good to see it has arrived to subscribers in New Zealand. Am worried about the LP’s though, hope they’re okay!! Tracking number showed as invalid but found when I entered it on this page it seemed to work, so those of you having issues with your tracking numbers try entering them here: http://mailviewrecipient.fedex.com/
