Third Man Records and Bang Candy Co. are pleased to announce a gustatory meeting of the minds this holiday season. BCC’s Sarah Souther has been a favorite Nashvillian of Third Man Records since she appeared at our doorstep on Record Store Day 2010 with her Cocovan filled with sweets to offer our weary vinyl warriors. Since then, Souther’s marshmallows have become the preferred treat of Third Man staff and fans. Neither party could pass on the opportunity to partner up for a confectionary collaboration…
Introducing Holiday Libations Marshmallows featuring the following flavors: Jack & Ginger, Blackcurrant Absinthe, Bacon Maple Bourbon, and Malt Chocolate & Whiskey.
Other treats will include Electrified Peppermint Bark, a Bang Candy Co. invention featuring “shock rocks” that sizzle and fizz on your tongue, and Smoked Spiced Orange Syrup, the perfect wintery, cardamom-y, peppery, hickory-y concoction to complement your dark liquor of choice.
The exclusive holiday offerings will make their debut beginning Friday, November 29th, and will be available only at Third Man Records headquarters while supplies last.
Stay tuned for additional announcements regarding Third Man's plans for Black Friday over the next week and a half…
AW man….
Yet another reason I’m sad I don’t live in Nashville…
I echo the ‘let Vault members buy them online!’ Statement. I’d love to have some of these :)
To bad I live in Norway :-( Waiting for additional announcements regarding TMR plans for Black Friday, guess will see some cool stuff coming :-)
I support possum’s idea.
Mmmmmm….the Jack and Ginger and Malt Chocolate and Wiskey sound delish! Too bad I don’t live near Third Man to purchase them.
The nerd that I am is so super excited for these lovely confections!!!!
That shit sounds delicious.
Oh for crying out loud, would you all stop? It’s not enough that I spent the entire summer after RSD craving blackcurrant absinthe marshmallows to the point that I bought a bunch of the non-chocolate-dipped version when I was in town a couple weeks ago (nowhere near as good, alas), but now you’ve gone and gotten them to create new flavors to send me into long-distance fits of salivation? Fortunately, I tasted the bacon maple bourbon so I already know I don’t love that one. And by all that’s holy, the description of Electrified Peppermint Bark and Smoked Spiced Orange Syrup within the same sentence is making me think of all sorts of inappropriate things that could be done with them.
sell ’em online for Vault members PLEASE!!!
