Yes, much of it we as Jack White fan-atics have heard him articulate already, but wasn’t it fun to hear him sing a couple bars of Tennessee Border! And see him in all his dapper accouterments charming Dan with his humble open answers and humor. I also was impressed with the production and editing in of performance moments. I’m happy to imagine the unaware fans-to-be that will tune in and get a taste of who Jack White. :-)

Given the discussion of the guitars, it was disappointing we didn’t actually get to look at them closely, but it was a very interesting and thoughtful interview, though the background info was nothing new. Jack was particularly articulate and had clearly prepared his responses carefully.

…and again, wed the17th @ 9:30pm est, thurs 18th 7 pm est, fri 19th, 9:30pm est, and last on Sun the 21st 10am est . Jack is as compelling, revealng, honest, charismatic and thoughtful as we know him to be. One hour with Jack of course barely scratches the surface, but Dan Rather’s questions are in depth as are Jack’s answers. Their rapport is honest, music centered, and really
satisfactorily captures Jack’s “essence” to date, Conan’s interview being the standard bearer.

I am with cathryn. I have axis though cleveland show ended up a full on wally world national lampoons family vacation situation. Complete with a 70 mile out of our way hubs took wrong exit because of bickering kids. So took yes an extra 140 plus(well kids gotta go potty of course) just to get there and it is 12 am n just made it back home. Wheew. So ummm yeah please post, give us a link, bread crumbs to follow whatever your choice but help us out. Purdy please!

Awesome interview! I loved seeing behind Third Man’s walls especially the vault room where the recordings are kept. Oh and Jack, we know your handsome. That’s something we all knew.

Dan Rather doing a thorough indepth Interview ; an enlightening introduction to those who aren’t familiar with who I’ve been calling, our musical Renaissance man. Dan echoed that conclusion.

Even on cable it is pretty obscure but they seem to have archived episodes. I am watching Loretta Lynn now and if that’s any indication, it will be worth waiting for.
