Today is September 22nd, which means tomorrow is the 23rd, and Thursday is the 24th, and Friday is the 25th, which, if our reasoning is correct, means we are THREE DAYS AWAY from the release of DODGE AND BURN, the new record from THE DEAD WEATHER. That sounds to us like cause for celebration, so we have planned just that for this Friday. Do you have the day off? Do you want an excuse to take the day off? Come on down to our headquarters in sunny Nashville, TN and toast to rock n roll with your friends in yellow, black and white.

Beyond new Dead Weather wares (some of which are VERY fancy!) and tasty treats, we will be creating limited edition (meaning, FRIDAY ONLY) super-soft t-shirts in three exclusive designs using the "Dodge and Burn" printing technique after which the record takes its name. The technique (as demonstrated in the video below) uses varying degrees of opacity on a stencil and good, ol' sunlight to imprint an image onto a surface — in this case, a t-shirt. The Dead Weather may be "sun people" after all.
