Quentin Tarantino's Hateful Eight Soundtrack on Vinyl

Quentin Tarantino and Decca Records today announced the release of Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight original motion picture soundtrack. The soundtrack will be available for purchase on CD, vinyl, and at digital retail worldwide via Decca Records on December 18, 2015. We are the lucky label to release the vinyl edition of the soundtrack in the US. The Hateful Eight film will be released on December 25, 2015 screening exclusively in 70 mm film and will open wide on January 8, 2016.

The standard vinyl edition of The Hateful Eight will be pressed on two 180-gram LP's house in a tri-fold reversible jacket with soft-touch finish containing a 60"x12" poster, a 36"x12" poster, and a 12-page booklet insert with stills from the film.

Pre-order Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight Original Motion Picture Soundtrack LP here.

There WILL be a limited edition version of this soundtrack released in the future, but if we told you all the details of that highly desirable product now, we'd have to kill you. So be patient, lovers of exclusive vinyl... Your safety depends on it.

Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight Original Motion Picture Soundtrack features original compositions from world-renowned, award-winning Italian composer Ennio Morricone. While Tarantino is a lifelong fan of Morricone’s work and has used his music in his past five films, this historic collaboration marks the first time Morricone has recorded original music specifically for one of Tarantino’s films. It is also the first time Morricone has scored a Western film in over 40 years, since the release of the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

Watch the Hateful Eight trailer below, get excited for December 18th, and pre-order your copy of the double LP now.

so you can’t post to the uk? but you can post your over priced vault packages which are smaller each time you make one, they used to be boxsets I think I’ll cancel thanks!

I find stating that a limited edition issue will be coming out as a class act. I do not want to purchases both and I would not purchase both. I am not sure which one I want to order or if I even want the album. I will have to wait to see the movie before I make the decision.

Raw

Why would they just tease a limited version that is going to be released after the normal version? That is stupid.

Not sure where you got your data from, but this site http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-interactive/2015/jun/01/the-counted-police-killings-us-database seems to disagree. In any case over a thousand people have been killed by your American police. That’s AT LEAST 3 people per day, which I think is pretty crazy by any standard. You know police over in the UK and Japan don’t even carry guns?
And hey, maybe American police wouldn’t be so paranoid if less people just carried guns around with them; but I don’t want to get into gun control laws today.
I agree there are good and bad people everywhere, but when those innocent people are caught in the crossfire we ALL have a right (if not a responsibility) to voice our displeasure and ask for justice.

If you really knew your facts you would know that there is a much larger amount of white people killed by cops each year than blacks. Only the uninformed people want to scream about police brutality on blacks. It is their way to promote their own form of racism! They do more to hurt racial relations in this country than any white person! I would bet that all of them that scream about police brutality would be the first ones to call the cops if they were in danger or threatened in any way. The other thing that they want to ignore is the black on black crime rate and that the majority of people killed by police were committing crimes when it occurred! If you obey the law you don’t have to worry about police brutality. There is no doubt that there are cops that abuse their position and power and I am for prosecuting them to the fullest extent of the law. There are good and bad people in every race. I am tired of the left wing liberals screaming racism every time someone disagrees with them and tries to show them the facts and the truth. What QT did was uncalled for and just shows his ignorance of the real facts. I suppose he believes the " HANDS UP DON’T SHOOT" crap as well!

Only USA?? Canada gets left out again. I think you will have international interest. I understand that you are releasing a limited version, but limiting the black version to only the USA? TMR, I love you but you are creating a Flippers market by doing this. I will search ebay or other forums for this and pay 2 to 3 times just because I live outside of the states. Still love you, but it needed to be said.

Do you all recall David Bowie’s Cat People in Inglorious Basterds? Really excited to see how Quentin Tarantino uses The White Stripes Apple Blossom…

David Hatfeild- Thank you, my dearest, for clearing this up for me. I’m with QT and I’ll be buying this record from TMR.
